Lazy Moose Lodge är en relativt ny (vår 2011) lyxig timmerhus / stuga som backar upp till Gallatin National Forest på en lugn återvändsgränd och bara 7 miles från West Gate of Yellowstone National Park. Hemmet är privat beläget i en lund med vackra Lodge Pole Pine, Aspen och Douglas Fir-träd och har en fantastisk utsikt från den täckta bakre verandan i Gallatin-skogen, inklusive ridvägar och vilda djur (t.ex. hjort och en tillfällig älg eller älg). Den har 1 250 kvm bostadsyta, inklusive 3 sovrum, 2 badrum, tvättstuga, familjerum, matsal, kök, sovloft plus en fullständig täckt veranda och en mycket privat täckt bakre veranda (matställe!) med utsikt över Gallatin National Forest!

Cozy Lodge

We enjoyed our stay while visiting the Yellowstone National Park. It was a great location to access the town of West Yellowstone and the West Entrance to the park. The cottage is very comfortable and cozy.

This cabin was very nice and in a great location to serve as a home base for our Yellowstone visit. It had all the amenities we needed and the hosts were proactive to assure we could resolve any issues should they come up. I would definitely stay there again.

Great lodge in Montana

The Lazy Moose lodge was the perfect place for our family. Nice furnishings, not far from Yellowstone, very comfortable, had everything we needed. We ate most meals there, fully equiped kitchen. Very nice property.

Cabin comforts and luxury

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful and so comfortable. Great for a family outing to Yellowstone. Loved the fireplace, the forest setting and nice touches. Kevin was a great host - quick to respond and helpful tips.

So close to Yellow Stone National Park.

We had a great time site seeing at Yellow Stone and took a day trip to Jackson Hole. Horseback riding very close and the rodeo just down the street were also a hit for the whole family! House is very clean and cute! Plenty of towels too!

This cozy cabin in the woods was the perfect place for our vacation stay. It is well furnished with all you need for your stay. Very clean, very comfortable. Only 10 minutes from West Yellowstone and the West gate of Yellowstone National Park. We highly recommend this property as a great place to stay for your next visit to the Yellowstone area!

Reasonably close to the West Yellowstone entrance. One bath (one sink) downstairs for up to 6 guests and one bath (one sink) upstairs for up to four guests. Hopefully, if you have a large group, most of your crowd will be kids.

The owner provided all the information, directions and guidance to allow us a very positive experience for our arrival, the stay and departure. Cozy Cabin

It was just my husband and I and the cabin was perfect for us. It would have been a little cramped with too many more guests. I was a little disappointed in the location as I wasn't expecting a little subdivision, I assumed it was more isolated. It is a beautiful home though and decorated very woodsy. It had everything we needed to make our Yellowstone trip a good one.

Great place. Quiet and remote!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Moose Lodge. The Lodge is quant and remote, and you'll appreciate the log cabin feel of the house. The lodge has everything you will want to make your stay perfect. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. The living room area is a nice size--big enough for our group of four. The Lodge is about 7 miles to downtown West Yellowstone with easy access to Yellowstone National Park. To get to the Lodge, you'll turn off Rt. 20 and on to a dirt road which can be rocky and bumpy, so be careful when you first arrive. We loved the remote setting of the Lazy Moose Lodge with a feel that is perfect for enjoying Yellowstone National Park. You won't go wrong with staying here.

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lazy Moose Lodge. Our boys have claimed this cabin as their favorite "hotel" we've ever stayed at. The cabin itself is beautiful, very well maintained, and so conveniently located. The booking process with the Neal's was very easy and their check-in information packet was so helpful. The location is perfect! Only 10-15 minutes from the Yellowstone west gate, and only 10-15 minutes the other direction to Henry's Lake. The cabin layout was perfect for our family, and our kids loved the bunk room and the loft space. The cabin had everything we could possibly need for our vacation week, and we are so grateful for the time we got to spend there. We cannot wait to come back!

Awesome location

This cabin is in an awesome spot. It’s less than 10 minutes from the National Park Gate and so all of West Yellowstone is readily accessible, but you are out of the hustle and bustle. The cabin is really well set up for anything from a couple to a family. I’ve rarely seen so many towels, flatware, and plates made available for guests. The wood burning fireplace and the washer/dryer were wonderful amenities. I would say that the kitchen has some items that are not in good repair, so think about bringing an item you really must have. The cleaning crew looked like they forgot a couple of things, but the owner responded quickly and appropriately. All in all it’s a great place to stay and will make Yellowstone really easy for you and your family.

5 STARS!!!!

We just returned home from a recent stay at "The Lazy Moose", where each day our kids hoped they would be able to spy this so-called, "lazy moose"! We can't say enough about this property - it is exactly as pictures and write-up capture. We could tell that the owners take pride in their home and want to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay. Everything about the home is top notch and high-quality. The home was well-stocked with all the essentials. Though our kids are older, we even noticed that there was a pack-and-play and booster chair in the home! We really have no complaints and look forward to a return visit! Also, be sure to attend the rodeo right next to the property's neighborhood. It was a lot of fun and something different to do!
