Lazy Moose Lodge Àr en relativt ny (vÄr 2011) lyxig timmerhus / stuga som backar upp till Gallatin National Forest pÄ en lugn ÄtervÀndsgrÀnd och bara 7 miles frÄn West Gate of Yellowstone National Park. Hemmet Àr privat belÀget i en lund med vackra Lodge Pole Pine, Aspen och Douglas Fir-trÀd och har en fantastisk utsikt frÄn den tÀckta bakre verandan i Gallatin-skogen, inklusive ridvÀgar och vilda djur (t.ex. hjort och en tillfÀllig Àlg eller Àlg). Den har 1 250 kvm bostadsyta, inklusive 3 sovrum, 2 badrum, tvÀttstuga, familjerum, matsal, kök, sovloft plus en fullstÀndig tÀckt veranda och en mycket privat tÀckt bakre veranda (matstÀlle!) med utsikt över Gallatin National Forest!

Yellowstone trip

This cabin was very nice and in a great location to serve as a home base for our Yellowstone visit. It had all the amenities we needed and the hosts were proactive to assure we could resolve any issues should they come up. I would definitely stay there again.

Great lodge in Montana

The Lazy Moose lodge was the perfect place for our family. Nice furnishings, not far from Yellowstone, very comfortable, had everything we needed. We ate most meals there, fully equiped kitchen. Very nice property.

Cabin comforts and luxury

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful and so comfortable. Great for a family outing to Yellowstone. Loved the fireplace, the forest setting and nice touches. Kevin was a great host - quick to respond and helpful tips.

So close to Yellow Stone National Park.

We had a great time site seeing at Yellow Stone and took a day trip to Jackson Hole. Horseback riding very close and the rodeo just down the street were also a hit for the whole family! House is very clean and cute! Plenty of towels too!

Lazy Moose

This cozy cabin in the woods was the perfect place for our vacation stay. It is well furnished with all you need for your stay. Very clean, very comfortable. Only 10 minutes from West Yellowstone and the West gate of Yellowstone National Park. We highly recommend this property as a great place to stay for your next visit to the Yellowstone area!

Cozy Cabin

It was just my husband and I and the cabin was perfect for us. It would have been a little cramped with too many more guests. I was a little disappointed in the location as I wasn't expecting a little subdivision, I assumed it was more isolated. It is a beautiful home though and decorated very woodsy. It had everything we needed to make our Yellowstone trip a good one.

Awesome location

This cabin is in an awesome spot. It’s less than 10 minutes from the National Park Gate and so all of West Yellowstone is readily accessible, but you are out of the hustle and bustle. The cabin is really well set up for anything from a couple to a family. I’ve rarely seen so many towels, flatware, and plates made available for guests. The wood burning fireplace and the washer/dryer were wonderful amenities. I would say that the kitchen has some items that are not in good repair, so think about bringing an item you really must have. The cleaning crew looked like they forgot a couple of things, but the owner responded quickly and appropriately. All in all it’s a great place to stay and will make Yellowstone really easy for you and your family.

Yellowstone dream vacation

The property was in a great location about 10min outside the town of West Yellowstone. Just far enough away to have a quiet night relaxing after long days of adventure. The West gate of Yellowstone only being 15min away. But the property and the hosts really made this vacation memorable. The hosts being very friendly and willing to help give suggestions about the surrounding area. The cabin had everything a family could ask for with laundry options, almost everything you would need in the kitchen along with grilling options for the nice home cooked meal if you so choose. The double bunk beds would be great for kids and the other two rooms are perfect for adults who want a good night sleep. Absolutely love this cabin and location. Would buy it if we had the option!!!

The cabin is 15 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance, nestled among trees but still within a small neighborhood. Check-in super easy with a door key-code; the owners are lovely, great communication. The kitchen is well stocked; there is a living room and upstairs a loft with a small bed and chair. The bedrooms are comfortable. Bring shampoo and soap but everything else is supplied in ample quantities—towels, blankets, laundry soap. It would be a bit small for more than 6 people but quite comfortable for the 4 of us. The front porch only has two rockers so we used our camp chairs. There is some road noise starting around dawn (with windows open).
