Lägenheten är ett hem hemifrån för att undvika buzz i centrala London. Se vår hemsida Londonsuite. Denna enorma centrala triplex lägenhet på 950 sq ft sover upp till 7 och är den enda lägenheten i en historisk London-byggnad i hjärtat av Kennington, centrala London.

Designad av en berömd irländsk modedesigner med 5-stjärnig modern komfort. Lägenheten är idealisk för familjer, har 2 stora dubbelrum och en stor bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Ett rum med två extra stora singlar och ett super king size-sovrum med ett lyxigt badrum och en stor regndusch.

Den enda plattan i byggnaden så fred är garanterad, men ändå 10 minuters promenad bort är den livliga Borough Market, BIG BEN, Tate modern och London Eye.

Central London ligger mycket nära. Kennington tunnelbanan är 5 min promenad bort och lokalt finns det många bra gammal engelska pubar och restauranger i närheten för att roa dig.

Transport runt London kunde inte bli bättre med tunnelbanor, bussar och tåg alla inom 4 min promenad och Big Ben bara 10 min promenad.

Clean and well located to transit

The host was quick to respond to messages and help with a last minute adjustment.The apartment is located near the many transportation options and near a few good cheap eats.Great stay if you need two rooms and a comfy bed

Fantastic stay

Stayed for 3 nights, 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 13, the apartment was perfect for us all, plenty of space and felt like a real home from home. Had everything we could of wanted. Convenient that there is a Tesco 1 min walk away to grab some drinks and snacks, and only a couple of mins walk to the tube which was great, excellent location and would certainly stay again. Have already recommended to friends and family.

The apartment was very clean. There are three floors. Each room is in each floor. Only one bathroom in the third floor. Our main issue was that there is no AC. We paid lots for two nights, I feel that AC should be expected. We visited in June and it was quite stuffy and hot inside. The introductions say to open the windows but when you do you have the main road in your living room. The place is by a main road and we heard motorcycles, ambulances and cars all night. A second issue we had is that the beds didn’t have proper sheets. Not sure if this was a mistake but we had only a duvet with no sheets. It was too hot for it anyway but it feels unsanitary and I doubt the duvet is being cleaned between each guests. Sheets between the duvet and bed should be placed. Other than these two things the place was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice spacious apartment

Four of us stayed here and the space was perfect! The outdoor terrace was a nice bonus. The location is a bit out of the way from typical tourist areas but this also made it a nice break from all the crowds.

Great little flat in London

Great little flat with a very attentive owner. A decent amount of room to spread out and well appointed space. Slightly off the beaten path but with good access to mass transit to the city center. I would stay here again! Thanks!

Good location

It was a good location between 2 Underground train lines. Small but big enough since we were out during the day. The street noise bothered my wife. Otherwise it’s a great value for the money.

séjour agréable dans un appartement bien situé

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cet appartement. Les indications pour y arriver sont très précises. L'appartement est bien situé (proximité du métro) et comporte tout l'équipement nécessaire. Irma a été très réactive quand nous lui avons envoyé un message. Si la circulation autour est intense, l'immeuble est calme, le bruit ne nous a pas dérangé. Les fenêtres et serrures mériteraient une révision, certaines étant endommagées (difficulté à verrouiller une des serrures et à ouvrir certaines fenêtres).

Great family accom in London

The property managers were great in getting back to us regarding the property. Short walk to tube which made it easy to get around. Everything you need in the apartment. Accommodated our family of five with ease. Paid parking available next door. Conveniences within easy walking distance. Great service from friendly hosts.

Great location for a trip to London

My husband, myself and three children enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed for a week which gave us enough time to see many tourist sites (as much as can be seen with 3 children) that were easy to find off of the subway system (closest stops were Kennington and Elephant & Castle). There was enough room that we could all spread out and a great layout for a family. The Tesco down the street was handy to get milk and any other food we needed. We also made a few visits to the local park down the road when the kids needed to run around.

Perfect for couples/families

We loved Matthews property. The multiple levels make it perfect for a few couples or families. It provided excellent access to the underground. We would definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay in London

Within walking distance to so much! Great pubs and grocery store very close by. Beds and linens very nice. Carpet/rug in living room should be professionally cleaned, but with being booked every day, don't know how that's even possible without blocking out day or two. Matthew very responsive. Irma was such a dear! Loved this place! My 21 year old niece wanted to stay a nd live there. Thank you so much Matthew and Irma.

Great stay in London

Fairly central location with all the amenities you need (including laundry!). Walking distance to the South Bank of the Thames and the London Eye. Conveniently near underground stations; restaurants, pubs, and a market. Three levels with enough space for our family of four. Enjoyed the terrace in the back and a view of “the Shard” skyscraper from the front.

Good stay

Irma was incredibly helpful and always available. She is great. I have only three things to comment regarding the apartment: 1) it has 3 floors, and a very small staircase. 2) It is relatively well located geografically, but the surrounding and the entrance to the apartment is not very nice. 3) Overall what you see at the pictures is what you get. Overall is a good place to stay. Good look!

Great location, highest standard of assistance

Matthew & Irma helped us out of a bind with a last minute accommodation booking. Their communication, solution and assistance was outstanding. The flat is super close to a range of public transport options but we decided we enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the sights of London. We were surrounded by great eats and easy access groceries. The flat was well laid out and accommodated the 6 of us well. We loved our stay and enjoyed the blend of practicality and art to make us feel at home.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - gute Verkehrsanbindung

Wir, das sind 2 Erwachsene und drei Kinder, haben wunderbare Ferientage in London verbracht. Die Wohnung ist an der einen oder anderen Stelle schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ein neuer Teppich oder ein neuer Deckenanstrich wäre meiner Meinung nach empfehlenswert. Das Badezimmer sowie die beiden Schlafzimmer waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Internet-Verbindung war hervorragend, was unsere beiden größeren Kinder sehr gefreut hatte. Die Betten und Matratzen waren in einem guten Zustand. Das Einchecken verlief ohne Probleme, Mathew und Irma haben sich immer umgehend auf unsere Fragen/Anmerkungen gemeldet. Die Wohnung ist verkehrstechnisch sehr gut gelegen. Eine Bushaltestelle liegt direkt gegenüber der Wohnung, zur U-Bahnstation Elephant and Castle läuft man maximal 10 Minuten. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen.

Bon séjour dans un emplacement idéal pour visiter Londres

Nous avons séjourné du 17 au 25 juillet, nous étions 6 personnes. L’accueil d’Irma et de Matthew est exceptionnel, avec tout plein d’attention. L’appartement sur 3 niveaux est très bien équipé, le plus étant la petite terrasse sur laquelle nous avons pris nos petits déjeuners et nos « pauses-détentes » le soir après les visites. Chaque couple ayant son intimité puisque une chambre par niveau, malgré une seule salle d’eau. Le seul problème a été les nuisances sonores : la circulation très dense et le restaurant club de jazz mitoyen. Impossible de laisser les fenêtres des chambres ouvertes malgré la chaleur intense. La seule option a été de laisser ouverts le porte fenêtre de la terrasse et la fenêtre de la salle d’eau pour moins de chaleur et un peu de calme dans les chambres. Malgré ce désagrément nous avons passé un bon séjour du fait de l’emplacement idéal pour toutes les visites : métro à 5mn et commerces de proximité. Et je salue vivement la très grande gentillesse de Matthew et d’Irma.

We have created a home away from home for people to visit london.
It is a large apartment and we have called it the London suite.

We have put in a large bathroom with an extra large shower to relax in. Our decked roof terrace is perfect for a romantic dinner

Varför värden valde detta boende

We chose to renovate this flat here because it is perfect for a fun and relaxed visit to central london. It is a local area and is a good way to see the real London. We are close to the river Thames and all of central London, only 15 mins walk from Big ben which is a great walk across Westminster bridge.

The Flat is in a historical London building with its own private entrance and security alarm. We have many good restaurants and authentic English pubs around and we are a short walk to The Old Vic theatre the Southbank and the National Theatre which has some of the best music and theatre in the country.

Borough food market 10 mins walk away, is a gastronomic treat full of Organic and gourmet foods.
Bermondsey antique market has been going for 200 years and is about 15 minutes walk and is full of bargains on a friday morning
