Our Durham stay

This was a great location and a comfortable stay. It is a very walkable neighborhood. It would have been good to know the letter on the address and that was the only communication I would have improved the initial check in process.

Weekend Away

We came into town for a wedding, and this was the perfect place to stay! We were always less than 10 minutes away from everywhere we needed to be! The property was nice and comfortable! We had a busy weekend, and it was a nice place to wind down. I wish we stayed longer to explore more of the area!

Cute and Great Location

It’s a lovely condo in a lovely neighborhood. Plus I was able to walk to town through Duke’s east campus, a real pleasure. The condo was spotless and the host was very accessible and patient with my questions.

College visits

We were coming from out of state to visit Duke and UNC. This was a perfect location, close to everything and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The open concept and close quarters may have gotten to be too close for our family of 4 if we stayed longer, but super cute and unique for our 3 day stay! Highly recommend!!!!

There are holes in walls, needs paint, over-charged

The unit does not look like photos online. The walls are messed up, the remote to AC did not work, the blinds, paint job are all in very bad shape. There are several holes in the walls. The carpet is old and needs cleaning. I do not recommend this unit if those things matter to you. And the response by the management team was horrible.

Combative guest that fished for a discount by threatening bad reviews. A/C absolutely worked by the way. We don't respond to these types of threats. False claims and would never host again

This property could be so cute. Perfect location. Quiet street. Unfortunately, the cuteness is hidden behind a problematic front door, dirt at the bottom of the stairs, stains on every square foot of carpet, broken blinds that offer people a perfect view inside, mold and mildew and a strong odor in the bathroom, sticky stove handle, food caked on oven mitts, dirty glasses, unclean surfaces, unsafe outlets, extension cords with multiple electronics plugged in, and the list goes on to include a lack of outside lighting so you need a flashlight to make it to your car. Because of previous problematic reviews, I contacted the owner to ask if problems mentioned were fixed since the reviews were getting better. I was told that those items were resolved. They were not. I contacted the owner after a couple of bugs showed up while I was trying to figure out how to make it work. I also shared photos of what I found. Thankfully, I was released from my contract, but I had to find lodging at 10pm. This could have been a perfect spot, but it needs a deep cleaning, electrical repairs, and some love.

Great neighbourhood, a well designed apartment with 'cosy' kitchen. We loved having breakfast on the terrace under the shade of the beautiful mature trees each morning. Very comfortable bed, and the single bed worked well for our young adult son. The apartment was very well located to Duke university and the amenities on and near 9th Street and Broad street. Our host was very responsive and helped resolve minor issues we had with the shower and slightly too cold a/c straight away. We will stay again next time we’re in Durham now that our son is living there!
