Mountain Retreat - You'll find this gem tucked away on a quiet dirt road. Mountain Retreat is new construction, with central A/C, a terrific deck overlooking manicured grounds, a basketball hoop and firepit, and mountain and valley views!

Once inside you will be pleased with the amount of living area in the open-concept kitchen/dining/living room. Large windows let in tons of natural light and allow for great views even from the recliner. Central A/C and ceiling fans keep Mountain Retreat comfortable throughout the summer. Two bedrooms on either side of the bathroom with laundry will comfortably sleep 5. This well-designed 2nd-floor apartment is perfect for a small group looking to get away and unwind, all while being 15 minutes from All-Star Village and even less to all the shopping options on Southside Drive in Oneonta.

Once you get settled in at Mountain Retreat you will have a hard time finding a reason to leave. Watching the ever-changing view of the mountains and valley as the day progresses will be a perfect way to start or end your day.

Your host has provided an EV charging station for your use. A nominal fee, paid to your host, will be collected if you wish to use the charging station.

This was the perfect oasis for my family to stay when not at the ball fields! Clean, comfortable (great A/C), and cozy! The unit and layout were perfect for the 5 of us. There is nothing I would change. The snack bag waiting for us at the end of a really long day was a HUGE bonus! The kids played basketball and went fishing on the property. The homeowner is incredibly gracious and has thought of everything. Wonderful experience!

Amazing

Great place only 15 minutes from All Star Village. Very cute place and the owner was amazing. My kids were excited there was a pond and asked if they could fish. The owner was happy to let them borrow their fishing poles. The views were absolutely gorgeous. A great way to relax before or after baseball games. I highly recommend this place for those that I want to be able to relax after games.

Amazing place with great views for Cooperstown Baseball Tournament

This was one of our best VRBOs ever. Everything was very new and clean. Great deck with amazing nature views and a grill!! We throughly enjoyed our stay and our host was excellent!! We highly recommend this place!!

The best!

Absolutely Perfect Stay – Highly Recommend! We had the most amazing experience staying at this VRBO near Allstar Village. The host was incredibly gracious and kind, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property itself was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and safe, with breathtaking views that made it hard to leave. The location was perfect—just a quick 15-minute drive to Allstar Village, which made getting to and from games super easy. The home had everything we needed and more. It was spotless, well-stocked, and clearly cared for with love and attention to detail. Honestly, there’s no better place to stay in the area. Nick’s Diner is a must try too! It’s close by.

Excellent property and location for our family while our son played at the All Star Village. Plenty of room to relax and unwind after long days at the field. Property was immaculate and the owner was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend!! Only 10 minutes away from the fields and very easy to get to.

Perfect for ASV week

My son went to ASV and this was the perfect location. Beautiful, updated space. Bonus was that Peter allowed us to fish in the small pond - which my littles loved. Such a beautiful spot to relax when we weren’t at the ball fields, which was an easy 15 min away.

Amazing Property

We were in town for baseball, this property changed our trip from great to amazing! Peter was extremely hospitable. The house was clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. The property was stunning and the view from the porch is gorgeous. We are excited to go back and stay again soon!

Outstanding Getaway

Only 14 easy minutes away from the Cooperstown All-Star Village, this hidden gem is perfect for any family. This unit was loaded with everything we needed for our stay. The property is beautiful and the place was immaculately clean! Plenty of room for our family during our week long stay. I would highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a great place to make memories during your visit to Cooperstown. Peter was super friendly and very welcoming. We would absolutely book this place again!

A Perfect Country Escape Just Minutes from the Action!

Cooperstown Mountain Retreat was the perfect blend of peaceful seclusion and convenient access to the action—just 15 minutes from Cooperstown All Star Village. The home is set on a beautiful second-floor deck above a three-car garage, offering stunning views of rolling hills. Be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs, but the view is more than worth it. Peter, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and greeted us personally. We were delighted to find a thoughtful gift bag inside with coffee pods, tea, snacks, and other treats—a great way to start the stay. The home itself was spotless, well-appointed, and felt like a true retreat. We enjoyed watching deer in the mornings, relaxing on the deck, and making use of the spacious basketball court and large fire pit in the evenings. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with modern comforts and country charm, this is the place. We’d absolutely stay again!

Jaw dropping

This was the coolest place ive ever stayed at. Forget any negative reviews you may have seen. Peter was an awesome and welcoming host and his place was beautiful, very clean and had all the comforts of home. Once you get past the rugid gravel road (dont be afraid, its totally fine and worth it 😁) it opens up to a beautiful home with tons of space and one of the best views of the mountains you will ever see. We spent a week on site and we cant wait to go back. If you come across this home on your search, dont let it go...
