Bekväm Island Home, enkel tillgång till stränder och stan

Salt Box stil stockhus med öppen planlösning byggdes av min familj med ett land känsla, som ligger på en trädbevuxen mycket i ned ön staden Oak Bluffs. Central Air och lätt promenad till lokala stranden som används av familjer i området Lagoon Heights. Vackra stad och statliga stränder i närheten. Charter fiske, golf, bra restauranger och gott om shopping för enstaka regnig dag. Många lokala sevärdheter att besöka, pepparkakor hem, tabernaklet, äldsta fungerande carosel, promenader / cykelleder och naturreservat för att hålla en upptagen och samtidigt njuta av vingården s avspända, avslappnad natur. Första våningen sovrum har queen size-säng, på övervåningen har full säng. Loft har tre enkelsängar. Sceened veranda utanför däcket har rotting furniture, två soffor och två bekväma stolar. Detta ger en bekväm tillflyktsort för dem som föredrar att vara borta från folkmassorna ännu bara en kort resa till staden.

John’s house is well-appointed and as described. Quiet setting, lots of space. He is super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the island and was available to communicate with us the whole trip. One thing I’ll say is that you probably want to bring a car (or rent a car) if you’re going to stay here. Although it is only about a mile or so out of town., Ubers can be expensive and it’s not close enough to easily walk back-and-forth to the beaches or town. Bikes would also be a good option.

Lovely Gem in Oak Bluffs

Had a great visit. Loved the charming log cabin and found it easy to take the bus or walk (25 min) in to oak bluffs center.

Wonderful Place to Stay!

We absolutely loved this house and our time in Oaks Bluff. John was fantastic to work with and made sure we were comfortable and settled in when we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. We definitely plan to return someday!

Wonderful stay!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house was extremely clean, more than enough room for all 6 of us, beautiful property all around. We’d recommend staying if you ever visit MV. John was extremely friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was super easy.

Comfortable and relaxing stay

We really enjoyed our time in this island home. It was quiet, clean, close to the top attractions, and it had all the amenities to make for an enjoyable time with family. Communication was great, and everything was smooth about our stay. Would definitely consider this home again in the future!

Beautiful place, Wonderful host

I think this was one of the best places we found in VRBO.. We initially was very skeptical about the place but when we reached the house it was wonderful, beautiful and very spacious.. John maintained the place very well.. He welcomed us warmly and explained us everything about the place.. Next time we go to Oak Bluff we will definitely try to stay at this place again.

Loved hope to stay again

It’s a very family friendly space. It’s not the most modern but the cost of staying in a house on MV is getting outlandish and for the value we didn’t care one bit. Owner was really friendly and not intrusive at all.

Very nice and spacious house with many entertainment spaces! The location was good for our desire to shop, swim at the beach, and attend the African American Film Festival throughout the Vinyard. Our only complaint was the limited bathroom facilities, one for such a huge space!

We loved our stay in the beautiful cabin. We also loved John! We felt very honored to stay in a place that had a great story behind it. We cooked dinner one night in the kitchen and it was great and we loved using the patio and sunroom in the morning to drink coffee and read. Renters keep in mind, the upstairs bedroom gets hot in the summer if you don’t keep the door open!

Nice, Accommodating Stay

The property owner is very responsive and helpful. The house is nice and it’s just a few minutes from downtown Oak Bluffs. Quiet and peacefu with good patio space. The owner picked us up from the airport with his wife and parrot, Jeremiah. We appreciated the hospitality that we received. Thank you, Mr. G.

I'm a retired Healthcare Administrator and my wife is a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice. We purchased the land in 1965 and built in "83. Additions added in 2007.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is a family home that we now rent. We also have a two bedroom apartment on the property that we use for ourself, primarily on weekends.

Home is generally available from May1st thru October 31 each year.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

What we find attractive about the Vineyard is that the character of the island has not changed in the 57 years that we have been coming here. There is more activity and certainly more homes than in the past but the feel is the same. Clean beaches and overall a quint place to visit and enjoy the tranquility of the island.
