Secluded and peaceful setting. Many yard games and inside games readily available. The view from the firepit area was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchens were well equipped .

My family (dogs included) had a great time at this property! It was exactly as advertised and was within easy driving distances to an assortment of fun activities and beaches. The nature trail on the property is also pretty cool. I would definitely stay here again!Scott and family

Great secluded home with plenty of trails and hiking space We went to go exploring the woods with our dogs and everyone was super happy. Great nature preserve within walking distance and close enough to some cute small towns.

This was an incredibly refreshing and relaxing stay. Pet friendly with a kennel area and plenty of room to play. All you need to bring is you, your clothes pets and food. I didn’t want to leave! This place was absolutely beautiful.

Step outside and be surrounded by rhe the sweet lavendar breeze from Cherry Point Farms. Hear the screech owl call out in the night while the fireflies dance. Let your dogs run off leash for the first time in their lives. Drive 10 minutes and climb a historic lighthouse and walk the pristine sandy shoreline. Soak in a Himalayan salt bath at Lotus Wellness Sudio in Mears. Treat yourself to the best ice cream at Country Dairy. Kayak down the serene White River and see turtles, water fowel, and fish. Climb the Silver Lake Sand Dunes if you dare. Eat fresh Michigan grown produce and feed your body and soul while you visit Shelby Michigan. The Darby Shelby home had everything you could want and more.

We have stayed here numerous times with our dog. It's stocked with towels and bedding with extra pillows. Kitchen has both large Keurig and small pod Keurig machines.Great to sit on second floor porch and listen to the birds and wind blowing through the trees.It's relaxing and very peaceful when you need a respite from the world.

We had an amazing time on the property. The house is even better in person and they have every amenity you can imagine! I highly recommend staying here and we will stay here again if we are in the area.

I have been staying in this area every summer for years. This is by far the best place I've stayed! It is so private, I felt like I could truly relax. The place was clean, everything you might need was there. Being able to bring my dog was a bonus!

Our stay was great! This home provided plenty of space, amenities such as towels, toilet paper, foldable lawn/beach chairs, two full kitchens, and beautiful land to explore. It was easy to check in and out. Host was always available via message through Vrbo and would answer questions within an hour. It was a great location 7-10 mins from all the sites, beaches and fun!

Amazing location

Property was in an amazing location, lots of fun trials in the woods and a really nice view from the fire pit. Communication was quick and easy, 10/10 recommend.

Privacy in a beautiful setting

Perfect setting for a Girls weekend. Plenty of space even for 11 people. House was unique and the view from the balcony was stunning. Great place for relaxing. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic family and friends vacation!

We loved the space and privacy of this vacation rental. It had all the necessities for a week long stay. We spent most of our time a short drive away at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. The only thing I would suggest is privacy curtains for the “kids bedroom” as we had an adult couple staying in that space.

Peaceful seclusion

Enjoyed the seclusion. Our dog loved the freedom of running and smelling everything! Felt peaceful and relaxed when our time came to come home.

Relaxing in nature

We have stayed here twice along with our dog. It is very peaceful and quiet. Surrounded by trees and walking paths through the woods. The cabin is very welcoming and comfy. Our dog loves being able to run around unleashed for a weekend!

Family and pet friendly! Fully furnished, two full kitchens with all the equipment to make home cooked meals! Water and sand toys available! A night at the fire pit making s'mores to cap off a wonderful weekend. A great family vacation and will definitely plan to return next year!!

This listing was absolutely phenomenal. The property grounds were very well kept and stocked with everything you might need for a fun stay. The garage was equipped with yard games and activities, a foosball table, and a ping pong table. The lookout was even better in person and the perfect spot for a fire. We brought a dog, and she loved the space. If you’re nervous about your animal being off leash, there is a fenced in area for your pet along with some toys. The first and second floors had a full kitchen, dining and living area, bathroom, and laundry room. The balcony on the second floor was spacious and came with outside furniture while the downstairs porch also had some chairs and a table.The hosts were incredibly accommodating and on top of communication. They responded in a timely manner and passed along really helpful information that helped make the stay that much more enjoyable. Truly a wonderful experience!

Great experience!

We had a wonderful time at Darby’s place. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the property was amazing. We took a snowy walk, went sledding, and made s’mores at the fire pit. The dogs had a blast too! Darby was very kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. We’ll definitely visit again!
