J-Bird's Hollow is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with a loft that sleeps 10 in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. It's inside the tranquil Coosawattee River Resort offering swimming, tubing, fishing, & more! Just 10 mins to downtown Ellijay, shopping, & 25 mins to Blue Ridge! Or stay in and enjoy our private pool (open May 1st- October 1st), hot tub, yard games, fenced back yard, or roast s'mores by the fire.
Inside you'll find a beautifully decorated home with 4 queen beds and a twin bunk bed. There is high-speed internet for streaming, working, or gaming. Have fun with board games, TVs, mini basketball, ping pong, and a retro arcade gaming system.
This quiet community has all the tranquil requirements for a relaxing and peaceful stay while you enjoy the outdoors and see the hundreds of deer that roam the area.

Cool off during a hot day in our large above-ground pool or catch some rays on the pool deck loungers! (Open May 1- Oct 1). Take in the stunning night sky as you sit around the fire pit roasting s’mores and sharing stories! You could also step inside to play a round of darts, mini basketball, ping pong, retro arcade gaming in the game room or covered porch, or eat some popcorn and stream your favorite movie.

Access to the resort is part of the resort fee. In using the passes provided, up to 8 guests can enjoy the following: 1 heated in-door pool (has a kiddie pool), 2 Outdoor pools, coin-operated game room, fitness center, tennis courts, basketball, pickleball courts, canoeing, river tubing, and fly fishing. Fishing is free for catch and release at the Beaver Lake Fishing Pond. Sports equipment is available at the sites.
If your party has more than 8 guests going to the amenities, please see the resort building on 634 Beaver Lake Dr. Ellijay, GA 30540. Use the second entrance to get to the services office.

**There are 3 security cameras on the property- a ring doorbell camera, a camera overlooking the driveway, and a camera overlooking the pool area. The pool camera does not record sound it simply monitors the pool for safety and insurance purposes.**

Beautiful property but poorly maintained.

I booked this property based on the pictures, my belief that the property was kid friendly, and the amenities. Upon arrival we were unable to enter the house for approximately an hour due to the lock not working properly. We started to enjoy the grounds while we waited on a response. Outside we found a broken fireplace a metal wire running through the yard. A broken fence and a broken glass lantern in the yard. Once inside we found a broken sink that didn’t function until our second day there after we made the owner aware. There were no safety features for small children. We also chose this property based on the amenities which included a heated pool… later we were told the pool wasn’t heated because it was closed for the season which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. The property was beautiful but it is clear the owners are not keeping an eye on their place. After we left we were told there were a bunch of things damaged that we didn’t even know existed. I didn’t vacation with drunk college kids it was a senior citizen and two small families. There is no Nintendo game system at this house either. Normally there are several extra towels and wash clothes during a stay and this place only had just enough, we didn’t even max out the number of people staying there. Therefore we were constantly doing laundry to have fresh towels. All in all I have rented several VRBO places and this one had the most problems upon arrival.

Family getaway

We had a relaxing stay in the cabin. Weather was nice, accommodations were really good. The amenities were nice & gave us things to do when hanging around property. Only bummer there was the Nitendo system and games were missing. We told Erika about it, she didn't know and apologized (hopefully she was ablevto find for next guest). It was well stocked, plenty of outdoor lounging chairs, etc... Part of the yard was blocked off due to some repair work that needed to be done. The deer were really cool to interact with, they came around alot. It is very peaceful there, the host does a good job making sure all are welcome. It made for a nice time away with family and nature.

Hi I'm Chantelle! My husband and I are from either side of the US but we met in Connecticut. We love spending time outdoors with family and friends. We really enjoy being new grandparents. It's the best. We also enjoy eating at new places and going to the movies. It's really for the popcorn! We enjoy hosting because we love to help people feel welcome in our home and that they are able to have experiences that bring families and friends closer together. Spending time away from "normal" life does that and we hope to help with that at our place.

Coosawattee is a quiet and peaceful area in the North Georgia mountains. It is a tranquil spot where our place is and we love the amount of wildlife you can see there. It is close to the river, and the amenities in the resort are great. We also liked this home because even though there are 3 pools, we like having a pool on the property. It just makes the experience more close so people can all be on the property and enjoy themselves.
