Denna enhet har en lördag till lördagskravet under högsäsongen! Denna uppgraderade två sovrum / två badrum condo rymmer upp till 8 gäster! Med en extra våningssäng med sovarrangemang för 2, är detta en mycket budgetvänlig lösning för din stora fest. Prissatt som ett 2 sovrum men har verkligen tre separata sovplatser. Layouten är stor, alla får sin integritet. Det rymliga sovrummet ligger vid stranden - en annan bra funktion! - med ingången till stranden balkong. En annan ingång till balkongen är från stranden vardagsrummet. Otroliga vyer från matsal och kök. Måltidspreparat görs enkelt eftersom köket är fullt utrustat och har mycket diskutrymme och förvaring. Denna två sovrum / två-bad enhet har två dubbelsängar i gäst sovrummet och dubbla våningssängar i extra våningssäng rum. För extra bekvämlighet finns en tvättmaskin och torktumlare i denna fantastiska lägenhet. Gulf Dunes egendom ligger på ett bra ställe, nära till allt men mycket privat. Bara en kort promenad till Okaloosa Island's Boardwalk där du hittar flera restauranger och butiker samt aktiviteter för hela familjen. Nära till shopping och flera restauranger. It was clean with a fully stocked kitchen, and beautiful views from the patio, and the two free beach chairs were a great bonus. Customer service was fantastic, and we would consider staying at a Brooks and Shorey Resort again. Location is close to everything. It's next to Destin without paying Destin prices.

Reviewer Comments: nicely furnished, clean, great location and and awesome view~! love the beach service with chairs & umbrella so you don't have to drag your stuff down there. ate at many nearby seafood restaurants that had good food. there are many things to do nearby and in destin, but not all the traffic there is in destin. appreciated the open communication with the property management. enjoyed the keyless entry. would highly recommend and plan on returning.

We love Fort Walton

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fort Walton Beach. The property is as listed, with an incredible balcony overlooking the emerald blue and green waters. We watched dolphin and sting ray from our balcony. The unit is nice with lots of sleeping spaces. Some of the kitchen items are in rough shape, but we were able to manage a full Thanksgiving dinner with what was provided and a few items from home that we’ve learned are essential to our experience. I did have to contact customer service for an issue with one of the beds and got a prompt response: I opted not to have them look at it during our stay, but they ensured that someone would after we left. The only true complaint I have is that many of the doors felt “sticky”. We tried cleaning them but determined it was just a really bad paint job that never set properly. This was not a deal breaker for us and could likely be easily remedied by repainting the doors. The heated pool was amazing— especially after jumping in the cooler November ocean water. It’s a great property and I’d stay again!

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The ice maker was a bonus. The bed was comfortable but a bit firmer than we are used to. The only recommendation I would make is to add an ottoman to the furniture in the living room so that there is a comfortable place to rest your feet! The view from the balcony was amazing. We enjoyed watching the dolphins swim by in the early morning. We also took advantage of the offered Explorie activities and my husband golfed several times! We highly recommend The Shack restaurant in Fort Walton Beach (excellent Lobster Crab Cakes) and BoShamps in Destin for a pricier but excellent seafood dinner!We cannot wait to return and will definitely use Brooks and Shorey again!!

Home Away From Home

The only thing negative about this trip was not being able to sit on the balcony due to cigarette and pot smoke coming our way from neighbors. My daughter has asthma so we wish there could be a smoker's building and a total non-smokers building. And I think marijuana is illegal in Florida. Seemed to be from a couple of doors down from us...maybe 506 or 505. But hard to say for sure. Also the 2nd bedroom tv did not work at picture on it; just "no cable" sign when turned on screen. We love Gulf Dunes. Maryanna is the best!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We couldn't get into our condo until 6pm but check in was at 4 pm. The lady at the front desk was not very nice. The washer and dryer didn't have work, took 2 hours to dry a load of clothes. One of the burners on the stove didn't work . For the price we paid it was a bad rental experience.
