Fort Walton 2025!!

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The patio chairs were so uncomfortable it made the patio experience not relaxing at all. The high-top chairs need new cushions. There is mold on the vanity in the second bathroom. The same bathroom toilet leaked and soaked all the clothes in a suitcase on the floor. The beach chair attendant was a jerk.

Great place for a family vacation

We had a group of 5 adults and 3 kids under 7. We had plenty of room to move around and have our own space when needed.

Great location for Spring Break!

We were very happy with the property overall - clean, beautiful views and easy access to everything. Living room could use new furniture and check-in was frustrating as “check-in beginning at 4:00” apparently means check-in between 4:00-6:00 so we had to sit in the car for an hour before getting the code to the condo. Other than that, we had a wonderful trip!

Wonderful stay, epic view!

The view from the 6th floor was absolutely stunning! We had a problem with the AC upon arrival and the maintenance staff was very quick to come fix it. Our kids loved the pool! We would definitely recommend the Islander and Brooks and Shorey!

Another great stay at the Islander!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had recently stayed at the Islander in March. When thinking of where we wanted to take our summer vacation, it was an easy decision to book another rental at the Islander! The property location is right on beautiful white sand and water in a safe area for running and walking on beach or pavement. We like that all buildings are low rise max 7 stories) due to the proximity to the Air Force base. The property is well maintained and cared for with a nice pool area. Condo was clean with nice amenities. Our local restaurant favorites were Parlor donuts, The Gulf, Stewby’s, The Shack and Ali’s Bistro. Hope to vacation here again!

First trip to Ft Walton

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good experience. The condo was nice and spacious, it was clean with one exception. Carpeting in bedrooms is old, stained and looks very dirty. The carpet really should be replaced. With that change, , the condo would be fabulous. We loved the large balcony and spent a lot of mornings and evenings out there.

Beautiful Beach Condo

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very clean on the surface and decorated nicely. However, we found candy wrappers in the couch bed and the sheets to the couch bed had crumbs on it when we arrived. Also, in the bedrooms there were items left in the drawers from previous occupants. The garbage disposal also did not work at all in the kitchen sink. Other than that the water and beach was beautiful and the condo was nice.

Bathroom by the pool smelled of urine (We only used once due to this). At check-in the employee was rude, but everyone else I dealt with was friendly. This was not a big problem since I didn't have to contact them again. The condo itself was very clean. I would recommend.
