Loved it!

It was our first family vacation in 15 years and we absolutely loved the unit we stayed in. Beautiful place. Beautiful view. Will definitely use again. Loved the ease of the check in and check out process. I do wish there had been more dishwasher detergent though.

Family wedding

The property listing was very accurate. Our TV blew out as soon as we arrived and once we reported it, maintenance arrived within 20 min. and accessed the issue and replaced the TV that afternoon. This condo is well-appointed and had plenty of room for a large group. Right on the beach, with a nice balcony. Would stay here again!

Good beach condo needed maintenance

Condo was nice, location and access to the beach was great. The master shower was not working when we arrived and property management couldn’t fix it. It would have been nice to know before we came or offered a concession on price. Everyone sharing one shower was a bummer but otherwise the comdo was great.

Nice condo

Our stay was good. We enjoyed the condo and it was really nice. There was still a lot of sand on the floors when we checked in but we swept it up. Having 2 chairs and an umbrella for the week was really nice. I was a little surprised at some of the things that were not in the condo. Be prepared to buy all the necessities. There was not even salt and pepper. That was a first in my experiences.

You can walk the beach for miles and we did. Condo provided beach chairs and umbrellas each day which was wonderful. The view from our room was amazing for watching dolphins play and having coffee in the morning, and dinner/beverage in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Restaurants, grocery stores, and souvenir shops were a short drive away.

Beautiful Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stay was perfect!! Condo was on the 5th floor corner, nothing between us and the beach and a very short walk to the ocean. Management company responded to phone calls and emails within 30 minutes or less to answer questions. Dryer wasn’t working properly and maintenance was there in less than an hour to fix it. Condo was very clean and supplies lasted all week. Can’t wait to go back to Pelican Isle 503!!

The stay was great and so was the condo

The only disappointing thing was that the condo was not stocked at all … I mean not a single seasoning, no coffee filters nothing that former guest would have left and also no beach towels at all … where I guess if we had drove maybe the beach tells wouldn’t be a big deal but when you’re flying. And everyone has to have a beach towel that’s an extra large suitcase.. and the hassle of it And the washer sounded like it was about to die and the dry took a couple of cycles runs to get a batch of towels dry so none the less we had a couple of suitcases full of heave wet towels

The Perfect Place

The condo and location is beautiful

This is the first time to Okaloosa island and I did some heavy research that would fit our vaca. This condo is decorated beautiful and the layout is perfect. We loved the catamaran and free beach chairs. Everything was easy, check-in, parking, we had no trouble, Netflix primetime YouTube smart television and Alexa was a bonus.

Great location and decor

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Pelican Isle 503. Very tasteful, pleasant place to stay. Weather was great, so that was a big plus. I think the cleaning staff could do a little better job - nothing terrible - just some things you notice here and there that I think have accumulated over time. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were nice, but whoever put the cabinets in did a terrible job. Gaps everywhere! The washer was making terrible noises, and did hang up a few times, but we managed to keep it working while there. But it definitely sounded like it needed servicing.

Lovely condo, poor housekeeping

The property is very nice. We liked the condo and the location. The view is wonderful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the unit left something to be desired. The floors were not clean. Black hairs were everywhere. The inside of the shower curtain liner in the master bath was covered in pink mildew. One of the chairs on the balcony needed a good scrubbing. We did not complain because we had already wasted a day waiting to have a shower door repaired and to have the broken air conditioner fixed.

Decent budget condo

A good cleaning and paint (indoor and outdoor) could go a long way. I’ve stayed in a lot of condos in Florida and this was decent. The condo size was great. It had more beds than listed and has been updated. It is nicely decorated. The beach service was nice however you will not get a front ocean view in less your up at 6:30am to claim your spot. There are a lot of units in the building so the beach was a bit crowded. It was quiet in the unit at night. Overall the building and unit have wear and tear likely from being flipped over and over. If your looking for a budget family friendly place, this is it.

relaxing spring break!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we loved this condo. The layout was perfect for a family with teens or 2 families. The master bedroom has a twin trundle bed so we put the teenagers in there and it was like a separate hotel for them. Kitchen was extremely well stocked. It was clean, furniture was comfortable. Beach service was extremely nice! Location was away from everything which is what we were looking for. The negatives: the tvs are no longer there in the twin beds. The condo below would smoke on their balcony and it would drift up. The washer was broken and Brooks and Shorey knew ahead of time but didn't tell us. A very big deal when flying to a location and relying on a washer to do beach towels, regular towels and clothes. Slider door lock was broken as was the toilet tank lid. Wish rental included beach towels. Overall, the condo was comfortable and spotless clean, check in and reservations were easy, and the overall experience was lovely! We would return to this location for sure.
