A unique place with style! A lovingly restored roaring 20's house with many original features, honoring Chipeta "Queen of the Utes". It is family friendly and cozy but full of Native American art and artifacts. Enjoy the hot tub, fire pit and large patio.
Nestled in a quiet neighborhood in the historic district of Grand Junction and within walking distance of the University and several parks. The space is not shared but we do have a traveling medical personal in the basement apartment.
The space
Three king beds, hot tub, large patio, fenced yard and fire pit. We have honored Chipeta in this unique house. The house was built in 1928 by an architect for himself. The exterior work of the stone mason can be found on other municipal buildings and parks. The upstairs and yard are not a shared space but we do have traveling medical personal apartment downstairs.
Guest access
The guests have full private access to the upper level and yard of this house.

The photos on the post did not do the property justice. The outdoor area was large and very comfortable and inviting. The artwork throughout the property was beautiful. Details were addressed. This is definitely a repeat use property.

We had an excellent stay! The host was friendly and accommodating, communication was fast, and the property was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The house is surprisingly large and very well appointed. Bonus for three king-size beds! The hot tub was great. The neighborhood is very quiet. We only had a couple of minor issues. Lori was hard to reach when we had a question at check-in, and we didn't realize that there was no air conditioning. Otherwise, it was really nice and we would recommend it!

Very cute home close to CMU campus. Perfect for graduation weekend! We were able to walk to graduation. Bonus - we also walked over to the pickleball courts several times. We played cards on the patio. There was an issue with the door but Lori was very communicative and had several solutions. All worked fine for us. Would absolutely stay again!

Stay in Grand Junction Colorado

We stayed 2 nights, the hot tub was very clean and ready when we arrived. The house was clean and very interesting. We took in the local cuisine. Pufferbelly Station is a must. I would stay here again.
