Cozy Cabin - Lake Cumberland - Hot Tub

Our cozy cabin is located on Lake Cumberland in Monticello close to Somerset and two great marinas, Conley Bottom being our favorite! We have partial lake views in the fall, winter and spring and a hot tub on the deck to enjoy the views, along with the fire pit below. We have 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and a pull out couch. The large wrap around deck is perfect for playing games and hanging out. Please note there is no lake access from the property.

Also, we own the property next door that sleeps 15 so if you want to bring a big group down and enjoy expansive lake views please inquire about booking both!

Perfect winter escape

This little cabin was exactly what my partner and I needed to get away from the city for a quick weekend during the winter. It feels private without being too far from a scenic walk or a trip to the store, in case you forgot anything. The host was incredible and the cozy cabin is aptly named. Would stay again!

Somerset Cozy Cabin Get away

It's tucked back away from everything. Nice privacy. It's small but that's exactly what we wanted. I would definitely love to come back as soon as snow hits the ground and in the summer time. It was perfect for what I wanted.

Peaceful and Great View

Perfect for a quiet getaway, hot tub was great, Fall scenery was awesome, view of the lake, quiet, secluded and private, close to restaurants and marinas, cabin was cozy, nice size for a couple or small family.

Just the Best

This was our 2nd time staying at the cozy cabin. I am again blown away by the stay. It was an exceptionally clean cabin and deck area. The host has extras of needed items in case you forget some (mini shampoos, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, TP, etc). The bedding, bathroom linens, and living room blankets were all freshly cleaned. The check in & check out process is a breeze. Great coded lock on the door so no getting locked out. Well lit deck and stairs with option to turn off to stargaze (incredible view straight up from the hot tub BTW) We had one question about the hot tub and sent a text- had a response in less than a minute and we were in the hot tub! I can't rave enough about this rental. We are again thrilled with our stay and are looking forward to coming back! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

5/5 Would Recommend!

The property was nice and clean. I liked how private it was. We used the oven, microwave, dishwasher, and K cup coffee maker. Everything works great. This house is a short drive from Conley Bottom Marina where we rented a boat and did some fishing. Had a great time!

Pictures are deceiving

Lots and lots of stairs, 35 to be exact! Only 1 access door, pretty sure this is fire code violation. When we got there 1 of the property owners told us that the hot tub didnt work. You also couldnt get down to the water at all. You could only even see the water from the top of the hill where you parked. If you wanted to fish or even be near the water you had to travel 30mins.

Everything you need for a peaceful get away

Perfect location tucked away into the woods. Everything you need for a peaceful getaway with lake adventures right around the corner. We brought Jet Skis to spend some time on Lake Cumberland. There are slips available to rent at Conley Bottom resort nearby. Everything was clean, including the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Getaway

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC STAY!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin following his 100 mile race in Jamestown TN. I am the type of person who cleans a rental before using anything- I have got to say, for the first time on a trip- I did not feel the need to pre-clean any surfaces, bedding, dishes, bathroom, etc. It was beyond my clean-expectations! The VIEW! was incredible of Lake Cumberland. We used the hot tub a lot during our stay with the view in front of us and stars above us. There is nice patio furniture on the deck as well. I really loved the soft automatic lighting on the deck and stairs at night time. I felt safe in the cabin and the neighborhood. The bed was super comfy. There is a nice washer/dryer set. The host was kind and always available! (I needed to text to figure out WiFi- which was right in front of me on the router and I didnt see it) My husband and I will now be looking (Closer to home) for a similar cabin for our family. The trip & cabin itself far exceeded my expectations and it is something i have been missing since we left! We felt very "unplugged" and really enjoyed actual relaxation. Overall, I give this cabin an 11/10 for our stay. We will be back (in fact, we will be back next October!) thank you for the best trip we have had in 10 years! (it was also our 10 year anniversary trip!) thank you thank you!

Cozy…

This property is almost exactly as listed. No surprises- which is a good thing! The stairs were a little more intimidating in person, compared to photos! Ha! Pack light! I actually felt like we were in a tree house instead of a cabin. It was really cool! We joined a local social media page and were given a ton of suggestions for places to visit in the area. We spent hours exploring. It was wonderful and quiet. The only negative I’d mention, this is a “cabin.” You are staying in the woods. If you are not used to cabin life, this place is not for you. It does have a musty smell inside from moisture…common for cabins in the woods. Not anything we aren’t used to. I would definitely stay again!!

Relaxing weekend getaway

Our stay was great! The location was quiet which is just what we wanted for a relaxing weekend! The hot tub was nice for relaxing as well. The cabin was clean and plenty of room for just the two of us. Building a fire in the fire pit at night was nice too!!
