Spacious and well-equipped; great hosts

Amazing place to stay in Victoria

This was an amazing rental to stay in! The hosts were kind, generous, and very informative about the apartment and surrounding area amenities. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with multiple recliners and couches. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance you could need. Walking distance from a shopping centre and beautiful walking areas, and steps away from local bus routes, it was an extremely convenient home base for visiting Victoria.

An incredible experience

I think that I found the best possible place for my family. The location is really good, it is a quiet neighborhood, the suit is perfect, you have everything you need, and above all, Pam and John really made us feel like home! They are very nice, communicative, and helpful! It is a place I would definitely recommend!

We had an excellent stay in Victoria visiting family. We found the accommodation to be exactly as advertised. Very comfortable with everything you need provided. The unit was clean and quiet. Perfect Victoria Accommodation

From the moment we chose this property to the moment we left, this was a perfect experience for us. Pam and John were very hospitable. The accommodations were spacious, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Felt like home immediately. We had our 2 granddaughters staying with us, and there was a park and hiking trails a stone’s throw away. It was central but tucked away on a quiet street. Everything we had hoped for. The unit was as advertised. Owner met us upon arrival. We were able to store our ebikes in the garage. The bed was super comfortable (I want that mattress at home!)

It was absolutely Pleasant, Comfortable and Enjoyable place to stay. Very specious, well equipped, very clean.. I wish my house is like this. Walking distance to two shopping malls for anything you need for your stay. Cooked more than a few things during my stay (did not want to eat-out every time). Quiet and beautiful area with a park nearby (which I went for jogging almost every day). Pam and John are very friendly and fun to talk to. I will not look for any other places to stay when go back to Victoria. Thank you, Pam and John.

Our stay was great, the place is new and clean.

This was a great place for my family and I to stay. For our 3 week stay in Victoria, Pam and John were so welcoming, helpful and their hospitality was wonderful. We appreciated all the extras that were provided upon our arrival. The place provided lots of room for me and my family and especially for my 5 year old son. I would have to say because of the hot weather that the best part was the AC (we didn’t get to use the fireplace), although the big screen TV, ice maker, and filtered water were also very good to have. The place is near a playground, walking trail, shopping mall, grocery stores and buses. Being near the Gorge waterway was nice for evening walks. Overall our stay was made more comfortable thanks to the helpful tips regarding local buses, businesses and swimming pools from Pam and John. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again if the situation arose.

Outstanding stay for our transition to the Island

We moved to Victoria from Edmonton and needed a place to stay for a couple of weeks until we got possession of our house. We selected Pam and John's place based on what we saw in the pictures and read in the reviews. Their place did not disappoint. The unit has an abundance of space for our 5 member family and everything was clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the items you would need and there are plenty of linens and towels. The TV's were big screen with a full assortment of channels and the kids were pleased with the wifi access. Anything you needed was essentially provided - they have really thought out their guests experience. The area is very walkable and quite pretty. As well, as I needed to work downtown during my stay, it was a quick 10 minute drive either way. Made for a nice commute. We highly recommend Pam and John's suite for your travelling needs!

Peaceful, spacious, well planned

My husband and I spent a week here. Even though it is attached to the owners house it is very private. The owners are a wonderful asset as mentioned in all the other reviews. They were very helpful when asked for local information. They were accommodating without being intrusive. All the appliances are new and it was especially nice to have a full size washer and dryer in the unit to cut down on the amount of clothes we packed. The second bedroom was nice as my sister in law joined us for 3 days. We did have a car and drove to see a lot of different things, but there is a bus stop around the corner and with a little effort you could probably use public transportation to get anywhere you wanted to go. We loved walking, and there were many options available. The floors are all hardwood, so do bring socks or slippers, but it felt very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant stay

The four of us (parents and two young adult daughters) had a wonderful time in the apartment integrated in the owners' home: it is a bright spacious place on the second floor, with a living room and two bedrooms with nice views, equipped with all the amenities we needed; very clean and organized. The neighborhood is also beautiful (one can walk along the Tillicum Gorge) and not far from downtown Victoria (if one has a car). We also enjoyed very much the nice conversations with and hospitality of our hosts Pam and John. It would be great if we could come back in the future!

A Home away From Home

This VRBO was the perfect place for us to spend a week as we were transitioning from one home to another. It was spacious clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. The kitchen had all quality appliances and the beds were excellent. We also appreciated the lovely outdoor area in the backyard where we could relax on these warm days. Highly recommend.

Great location, lovely hosts

Pam and John are charming hosts, and their VRBO apartment is spotlessly clean and very quiet. If you like soft beds and furniture you will be comfortable here. The location is very good, a block from lovely walking trails in Cuthbert Holmes Park, and the Gorge walking paths in the other direction.

Extremely clean well appointed apartment with terrific hosts!

We rented this property for the month of February in Victoria! The property has everything you might need for your stay!! Pam & John were available for anything we needed! The property is close to the bus stop to take you to downtown Victoria several times a day! Grocery store and theatre is within walking distance! Walking path around the Gorge is very close and beautiful!! Overall a wonderful month away from winter! Thank you Pam & John

We have lived in Victoria for many years, and in this neighborhood for a very long time. John is an avid runner and I love to walk and swim.

We love doing vacation rentals because we meet people from all over the world.

We are always on hand or a text away for questions about things to do, places to eat, and any questions you may have.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Our home is in the beautiful GORGE area and is a great choice for a vacation, either for family with children over 3, friends or a couple. You can go out the front door RIGHT one and a half blocks to the forested park with trails (Cuthbert Holmes Park); and LEFT
0.5 km to the beautiful GORGE waterway walk. There is a children's playpark 1 block to the LEFT down Dysart Road.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Gas fireplace for chilly evenings. Lots of room for you and your family. This is a very peaceful setting. In the backyard, for your enjoyment, there is the OASIS - a private area for just you and your family to enjoy with a barbeque, (on request) and a picnic table and extra chairs.
