Extremely clean! Loved the fact that it was dog friendly and was as clean and fresh smelling as it was. Family of 6 had plenty of room (except for when being in the kitchen all at once:). The pictures do make it seem bigger than it is BUT we made it work just fine. Loved the outdoor space in the lower lawn where we hit golf balls and did some target practice. Host answered all texts instantly and was very helpful. Stayed for a wedding at Armstrong Farms which was about 25 minutes away.

Clean and as presented. Host responsive. Minor detail guests should be aware of, master bedroom upstairs is entry way to other bedrooms. Nice gated area that can be used for pet.

We were in town for a wedding at Renshaw Farms. This place was the perfect place for us to be close to family attending the wedding, stay together with family from out of town, and enjoy coffee together on the porch in a beautiful setting. There are no bedrooms on the main level, so that is a consideration for guests that can not do stairs.The coolest feature, the speaker set up so you could play music throughout the house!

We really enjoyed our stay. The porch was my favorite and the picture of it on the site really sold me on it. We were staying there and going into Pittsburg to go to several museums. It was great to have such a nice place to spend the evenings. We didn't really walk around the property much since we had a lot of rain. The beds were very comfortable even the sofa sleeper. It was easy to see that a lot of thought and work went into remodeling and decorating. All the different wood tones beautiful. The appliances were all top notch and I wish I had some of them at home.

Tranquil Stay

The property was a little smaller than the pictures indicated but it was clean and private. The host was easy to work with and responded quickly to texts. The outside porch area is nice but could use a good cleaning and the fire pit is not close to the house. To get to it you must go down a small hill.

We stayed at Douglas's home to be close by to the venue of my son's wedding. What a cute gem. The decorations were fabulous. It was quiet. My friend left her luggage and luckily Doug had come by and noticed before she got all the way back to her house. If you want to unplug there was not great cell service BUT wifi was great and we could connect that way. My son was very impressed with the collection of games and the hidden compartments in the house.

Great property

Wonderful property amenable host. Nice secluded layout. Key feature for us was the fenced in pet play area/toddler play area lol!One thing to know because it is an older farmhouse the basement has low ceilings. To enjoy the home theater room and stand straight up. You need to be under 5 foot five.Secondly, the upstairs bedroom is a captive bedroom meaning one needs two walk-through another bedroom to enter it. There is not common access to the second upstairs bedroom.Really great host and absolutely wonderful fire pit. Would stay again!

Your bad review reflects unfortunately on your complaint of running out of hot water after filling a garden tub with 80 gallons of water and expecting to have hot water for a shower at the same time. No conventional hot water can handle that demand.
