Perfect place, perfect view

This condo was exactly as described. Was clean and ready for our stay. There is nothing you need if you are cooking in, everything here is easy to us and convenient. The view is breathtaking. Any questions I had were answered immediately. We will be returning next year.

Quaint apartment in an absolutely beautiful location

Everything was great about this VRBO! Great access to the beach, comfortable bed and couches. Large kitchen. Included beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Only slight complaint was that there were only two rolls of toilet paper and no coffee. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I loved this perfect size condo with everything we Could have needed. The location is awesome, just a few steps to the beach. Very clean and great on site service. Easy parking. Nice view of the ocean. It exceeded our expectations!

Perfect beach spot

We love Sunset Chateau. The beach is quiet and sunsets are beautiful. Other residents and guests are always friendly. The property is well maintained and taken care of. My boys love swimming in the ocean and the pool. Plenty of places to go within walking distance or just a 5 minute drive.

Loved the unit was on the corner, more private. Loved the views of the beach. Great sunsets.the inside was stocked well with towels, kitchen things etc. The shower worked fine but didn’t look too good. The stove parts where the burner pans are very dirty. Overall very nice place. Would stay there again.

The view was great. You have to share the balcony. We had a couple issues, but they were taken care of. At least one closet should be emptied, no room to put our suitcases. The area was quiet.

Unit has a phenomenally stocked kitchen and amenities. Could use a a dishwasher, but then, cabinet space would be lost.

Absolutely Perfect!!!

What an incredible find this little place was! The condo was comfortable like home, exactly as described, clean, clean, and clean. Everything that was needed was right there. Close and convenient. We will definitely be staying here again. And again, and again. Wish the property would follow up on the no smoking on the balcony. But that didn't deter our stay at all.

Beach side Condo

This condo was perfect for our mother -daughter trip. We stayed 7 nights and the location was ideal. I’d suggest that they supply more beach towels, toilet paper, and shampoo/conditioner so that we wouldn’t have had to buy these items (we ran out of toilet paper and shampoo/conditioner by day 3-4). They also only had one regular folding chair (& 3 beach chairs), which was disappointing for my daughter and I since that prevented us from sitting out he balcony together. Otherwise, great stay!

Disappointed

Wish I had read the review from the renter in December, of course it was after we booked early in the year. What they said is correct. No microwave, No toaster, it’s there but didn’t work and dirty. We also had the same bugs, maintenance sprayed, but never had pest control in like the owner said in December or had the electrical problem fixed. Maintenance was call for this and never returned our call. So the owner was wrong, these problems were not resolved! The only good thing was the view and it was a nice and quiet beach.

Christmas Break

It was OK...the bed and the pullout couch are bad! Our boys actually had to sleep on the couches because the mattress is so BAD on the hide-a-bed, YIKES!! The king bed in the bedroom is nice because of the size but very uncomfortable and every time you sat at the foot of the bed it made very awkward noises. There was only a fitted sheet for the hide-a-bed and no cover sheet to use and only one blanket that I could find. It would have been nice to have a microwave to use, the pictures show one and there is not one available. The toaster is trash, so don't use that. It certainly has a beautiful view and very easy access to the beach, which was wonderful! The check-in process was a nightmare for us. Our flight was delayed, which no fault of this place, but we didn't end up arriving until after midnight and it was a torrential downpour. Finding the "3 lockboxes" was not fun. It might be helpful to mention that the lockboxes are the size of a "key" next to a very LARGE lockbox, give a better description. There were bugs in the cabinet when I opened them, not sure what kind, but I believe it was a cockroach when I researched. It was too fast to catch. I did call to let them know and they said they would be sure to let "pest control" know, but no one arrived during our stay to 'check it out". So, that was a little disappointing as well. So I made sure to wash all dishes prior to using. The place definitely needs some updating, in the kitchen especially.

Cute, convenient

We enjoyed our stay and would likely use this unit again. The location of Sunset Chateau is perfect for us. Convenient to so many options and the beach is perfect for our needs. Overall the unit was clean and well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. My suggestion to the owners is that there are too many decor items sitting around and stuffed into closets that you can conveniently get your belongings organized. The closet situation is ridiculous. Also, the sofas are in need of replacement.

Great location, nice place

Everything was as expected. The only frustration was there were some boys staying next door during part of the stay who were sometimes noisy. After they left, we got served with a notice to stop moving furniture and stomping feet, which was very aggravating to us since we were very quiet.

Sunset Beach is our FAVE!

We love this area of the beach! It is so beautiful and private. We have stayed in several condos in this building, and this one was our favorite so far! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!! PROS: +Tastefully decorated +Tile flooring throughout +Comfortable king bed +Plenty of closet and drawer space +Beautiful view - being a corner unit, it had an extra ocean view from the bedroom +Keypad door lock for easy access +Comfy outdoor furniture CONS: -3 beach towels and 3 balcony chairs, but there were 4 of us -cloth furniture needed cleaning or slipcovers - we covered with blankets -2 burners on the stove were out -deadbolt didn't lock - door was splintered because someone had tried to force it closed -provided beach towels were actually bath towels

Great Location and Beautiful View

Loved the corner unit for lots of privacy, light and views from all three sides. Felt very homey and comfortable. Loved the location , private yet close to all amenities. Would definitely stay here again.
