Beautiful, bright and spacious single-family home on a quiet, leafy street in Chicago's Logan Square! Our home is perfect for a family with children, as we have toys, and a child's bedroom set up. The home is 3 full, finished levels, so your family will have lots of room to spread out and relax, or get together for a cozy movie night or family meal either inside or outside on our deck. The kitchen has everything you'd need to cook dinner in and keep your family fed for your stay. The pergola, deck and backyard offer a lovely respite during the summer months while our inside fireplace and pool table are perfect for cozy winter nights.
The neighborhood is known for its top tier food scene and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy walking or biking on 'The 606'/ Bloomingdale Trail. Walk half a block to Palmer Square Park, great to play with dogs and kids. Walk to a many award-winning bars and restaurants such as Giant, Scofflaw, Daisies, Moonlighter, Parson's Chicken and Fish, Dante's Pizza, Cellar Door Provisions Lula Cafe, and more. Our neighborhood is home to many breweries, including Revolution, Maplewood, Hopewell, Solemn Oath and Middle Brow Bungalow. There are also many cute shops popping up for local shopping! You won't run out of things to do in Logan Square.
The bus to downtown is on our doorstep (2 min walk) and we are a ten minute walk from the California stop on the Blue line (The 'L) if you have plans to sightsee downtown! It is easy and safe to travel this way.
Lastly, there is free parking out front on Whipple Street.

Amazing house and stay

Our time at this property was amazing and the reservation fee was unbelievable considering how beautiful the house is, the neighborhood, and all of the amenities. Communication with Alison was timely and responsive. I highly recommend this place and Im looking forward to returning!

Family time in Chicago

Beauriful and spacious home with many delightful amenities. Situated in a lovely neighborhood with lots of restaurants and green space nearby. Highly recommend.

Great Weekend in Chicago Stay

Friends in town for a little reunion. Perfect place for it in great neighborhood. Really awesome spacious home, smooth entry process, with really helpful hosts. Major contributor to a grand ole time.

First Time in Chicago

This home was absolutely perfect for our first time in a new city. It was perfectly located near restaurants and bars we could walk to and explore as well as the blue line that took us downtown. Owner and property manager were so communicative and provided assistance when needed. House amenities were too notch and it’s clear the home is cared for. Already planning a future stay and hoping to land the same home next year!

Father’s Day Weekend

Property was nice and in a good location; but the AC on the lower level wasn’t working and they didn’t make a huge effort to come fix it during our stay. It would’ve been nice to have the WiFi information at check in along with instructions on how to work the tv so we didn’t have to keep messaging back and forth. Also, there were no back up supplies such as trash bags, paper towels, or extra bath towels that we could find.

Beautiful house

It was a pleasure to stay in this beautifully appointed, spacious house. On-street parking was easy, which is unusual for the area. The Palmer Square park was just a couple of blocks away, which my family very much enjoyed.

We are an Irish family who split our time between Mexico and Chicago! We love to be able to split our year 9months/3months and so are happy to give our home up for others to enjoy! We have put a lot of work into making it a home :) We hope you can enjoy our home, yard and neighborhood as much as we do! It is our family home so it may not be perfect hotel standard but we have it set up to a very high standard.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We love our leafy hipster neighborhood with all it's quirks. It is an area developing so rapidly and it is amazing to see! We are lucky to be in the middle of some of the best restaurants in Chicago such as GIANT, Gretel, Andros Taverna, Osteria Langhe and Lula Cafe. There is a new burger joint just a five minute walk on Armitage called Small Cheval! Great addition to the community and a new sushi restaurant coming soon at the end of our street!
We also chose this neighborhood because of its proximity to Palmer Square, a place where we bring our children for picnics or to read on a hammock. There is a hammock in the front coat room for you to enjoy!
We also love riding our bikes on the 606 trail nearby! Divy bikes are available to rent just on Humboldt and Armitage (4 min walk from our home)

We love our high ceilings and natural light inside our front living space. We have fireplaces that add a warmth and homely feel. Our home is always warm and we love our back deck and yard with grill and pergola. Our basement is always a favorite with families with children! Fully stocked with Montessori style shelves and activities and small pool table.
