En fem minuters (2 kvarter) promenad till allmänheten och ofta avskild Oak Street Beach och Lake Michigan. Ett kvarter från floden. Gå till centrum och marinan. Två parkeringsplatser ingår. Din hund är välkommen att komma med för skojs skull. OBS: Under sommarsäsong från mitten av juni till mitten av augusti kan vi bara hyra varje vecka.

Perfect weekend getaway

This home suited our needs perfectly for a weekend getaway. The neighborhood is quiet, the fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere, and if you want to set out for a stroll on the beach, it’s a very short walk.

Perfect fit for our family

These accommodations worked great for our family. We have stayed many years on the south side of SH and this was our first on the North. This is walking distance to Packard beach which is bigger than Oak st. This house has everything for your needs. We spent most every day at the beach with grandkids. The bed in the master is lower than normal and pillows could be better. I am one that puts a high value on sleep when getting up early with grand kids.

Great property

Everything was wonderful . It was a little chilly during our stay so we didn’t get to use the outside much but it was a very nice house. The plug in the shared bathroom didn’t work and the floor in the kitchen seemed a little unlevel. The shower was slick but, I’ve encountered that other places too

Property was exactly as stated in listing. Great location, great amenities, 2 minute walk to beach. House was spacious and stocked with everything needed for a wonderful stay. Mark was super responsive. I would highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!

Close to Oak Beach

We enjoyed the comfortable home and close proximity to Oak Beach. Our grandchildren had a great time running on the beach and building sandcastles. The wagon and chairs were very helpful. We also enjoyed walking to many restaurants. We had a wonderful time in South Haven and will return.

Vacationing at the Lake Was Never Easier

This cute little home was so perfect for our beach vacation. We loved the open and airy kitchen with huge countertop for food prep, the large dining table for meals and games, the layout of the entire home, and all the little conveniences such as the outdoor shower for getting sand off, wall hooks for wet towels, and a zippy little vacuum that made sand clean-up a breeze. We used the grill for kebobs and burgers, and the huge capacity fridge was great for our restaurant leftovers and bulk fresh blueberry purchase! The walk to the beach was so pleasant as we passed beautiful homes and yards in the neighborhood, and of course, Lake Michigan was perfect in every way. We appreciate the owners' attention to detail in the shed full of beach supplies, the beach towels, plenty of toilet paper, soap for all the sinks, lighters for the grill, and even little fun touches like activities in the turntable cabinet. Our kids were enchanted with the record player, and the record selection was spot on for these GenX parents! We truly had an amazing time, and the house was simply ideal for our four-day vacation. My husband said we should have stayed longer.

Quick weekend away

Location, location, location. Easy two block walk to the beach, and about a mile into downtown. Plenty of room for two couples. House had everything we needed, and was nice and clean. Loved the back deck, fire pit, and record player. Can’t remember last time I played an album. Will diffidently be back!

True to it's name, great place to land

We landed here after a week of camping and loved so much about it. Very welcoming and clean. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood for walking. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Great little place.

This place was just a described and a fine place for a couple days. It was close enough to town for our littlest member who is six years old to walk there and back and the beach was also very close. The back deck was full of pollen and some of us struggled with that. Other then that the place was great for our use!

Would love to come back in the summer!

Many positive aspects to this home! We weren’t cramped, plenty of room, 2 bathrooms (so appreciated with two teenagers), completely stocked with essentials, and very clean! There were bikes for us to ride, and had the weather been warmer we could of used kayaks. A tree swing was much appreciated by the 13 year old. There are many more amenities that were available to us that we didn’t use due to short stay. I would most definitely recommend this sweet home to a family!

Beach week with immediate family and friends

Great week at SH! The property has all of the essentials! Clean, open, and great location! We did not miss having a screen in the living room, (although some might!). Adequate beach toys. Nice back porch table. Would stay again.

Ideal for beach, biking and kayaking

This home was just what we needed! Easy stroll to Oak St Beach for sunset and North Beach was also nice and close. We really scored with the kayaks and bikes on hand, thanks Mark! Grill worked great, kitchen stocked with good variety of items. Just a note that the "two bunk beds" is ONE set of bunks.

South Haven initiation

This was our first visit to South Haven, and we are asking ourselves, "Why did we wait so long to try it?" This was a family vacation of three generations, and it was the perfect place. The location of this property was excellent. We were outside of the downtown crowds but close enough to walk or bike anywhere we wanted to go. The house was actually more spacious than we expected from the photos, and the host provided more than many do. We had access to the pack and play, beach wagon, bikes, and kayaks and much more. We would definitely stay again and hope to!

We've renovated it with local real barn wood floors, a warm gas fireplace, an all new bathroom, and a funky and comfy decor that isn't like every other cottage on the block with a Gone Fishin' sign. We will enjoy it part of the time, and we want you to enjoy it the rest of the time.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I grew up spending every summer in South Haven and loved every minute of it. Body surfing in the waves, playing Capture the Flag, making sand castles during the Blueberry Festival, riding my banana seat bike to get penny candy at the corner store that has been there as long as I can remember. I always thought when I had a family, I would buy a place in South Haven to let my kid love those same experiences. Well, I now have that kid. So, I had to make good on that promise to myself.

Take a short walk to the beach with coffee in hand first thing in the morning. Take a ten minute walk to one of two parks with your kids or the dogs in the afternoon. Play badminton or ladder ball in the big yard. Take a secret shortcut to the bridge (you'll figure it out when you get there) and be at one of the great downtown restaurants ten minutes later. Read a book by the fire. Play poker at the big oak table that can seat ten or more. Uncork a bottle of red wine and relax on the deck. Watch Jaws with your friends while eating endless bags of microwave popcorn.
