Beach Grass is a wonderful vacation spot for the smaller group or family. The home is relaxed, open and airy with lots of windows and a slider opening out to a nice deck and long fenced in backyard. Beach Grass features those perfectly imperfect vintage wood floors, special built-in storage spaces and a touch of nostagalia for those simply relaxed vacations we all crave. Is there anything more fun than coffee on the front porch and chats with passers by?

Conversations flow easily between the living room and the kitchen, and you'll find the large kitchen island functions for both prep space and dining space. Kids will love running around the large fenced backyard and adults will appreciate the green space.

This convenient location can't be beat! Just 3 blocks from Kids Corner Park and the Blue Stairs beach, and an easy stroll to shopping & restaurants downtown. Park the car, and you may not drive all week.

South Haven Beach Grass Cottage

Location was great for walking to the beach, walking to shops and biking. The cottage is charming and great for 2 people but would find it a bit crowded for the 6 beds it advertises. The neighborhood was very quiet. The outside (deck, garage, porch) could use some maintenance/cleanup..

Escape weekend

Cute house! Great HVAC. Great shower. Great fridge. Great deck. Recommend replacing or cleaning the living room sofa and recliner.

Great Stay

We had a great time enjoying downtown in the beach – both very walkable. Place was clean and cozy, and the air conditioning functional. Plenty of space to lounge and relax. Excellent location!

Expected better

This property was not what we expected when we booked, especially for the price. The house was small and cramped with very low ceilings (so low my husband hit his head on the doorways). It also had a slight lean. Bedding in the master had holes and blood stains. The bathroom had a funky smell. The kitchen had a broken light. The front door was unlocked when we arrived. However, the fenced in yard was nice and we appreciated the quiet neighborhood and location. We also thought the property management’s communication of check in & out processes were great!

Cozy cottage conveniently located

Pleasant, quiet neighborhood. Walkable to beach and town. Stocked with everything you need, clean, and comfortable. We had a couple minor issues that the management company handled immediatly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Sweet place to stay

Property was well cared for and clean. We loved the front porch. The house was the perfect size for the 4 of us. I would highly recommend!

Excellent house in a great neighborhood

This property was perfectly located in a nice, quiet, neighborhood. We walked to the very large playground daily for our 5 year old son to play on. We would then walk to the beach from the playground and spend the day there. Downtown South Haven is only 5 minutes away. It was quick and easy to navigate to. There are towns with lots of activities for adults and kids within a 45 minute drive that made the stay even better. The house itself was clean and stocked with everything you need to live there while on vacation.
