THE CITY

Located within the Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen is in the heart of the Mexican Caribbean.

Parallel to the beach is the main avenue of Playa del Carmen, Fifth Avenue, which is a 5-kilometer pedestrian street that has small hotels, shopping malls, shops, art galleries, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.

Playa del Carmen and its surroundings offer a wide variety of activities that you can do in one of its exciting natural and theme parks such as Xcaret, Xel-ha and Xplor; from bird watching, ATV rides and zip line circuits through the exuberant Mayan jungle.
