Had to call to get code to check in.Amenities was not as told they would be.Have to call host about TVs, the main one the host had went to buy a new fire strick but had not put it on the TV.Upstair bedroom fan would only run on medium speed, she said she would call me the next morning at 9:30 after she talk to mantenace, but never call, Told me there was a floor fan in the closet, there was no fan.the amenities was about half that was listed. Things we could have brought like a hair dryer, which I had to go buy one for my wife, no TV channels, which the ad said there was over 100, and I could list a few more.

Nice getaway

Overall, this property offered what it stated. It was super close to the beach (walking distance about 3 mins) and restaurants near by. You get what you paid for and for that we have no complaints. We did have to reach out to the trip manager and inform them of a couple items that were broken but it wasnt detrimental to be fixed immediately. Make sure to bring coffee and all the things from salt to seasoning if you plan on cooking. They did have beach chairs just bring a beach bag/wagon. This place is a bit old and you can tell its a fixer upper and they are still fixing it up. But we are thankful for the place and for the vacation we had.

There is not a working hot tub

The ac was not working they had get guy come fix then says there is hot tub and there is one but was dirty stank and was out of service I will never use this one again because of the false advertisement

Great location for access to the beach. Would have been nice to also have some type of access to an outdoor/indoor pool. The previous renters must have brought their pet or pets because there was pet hair on the chairs and sofa. The broom located in the closet area had clusters of pet hair on the bottom of the broom as if it was used to get the pet hair up but the hair was not removed from the broom. The outside patio area was nice but the TV nor fans worked & the jacuzzi/pool looked really outdated. Other than that it was ok for sitting & mingling with friends/family.

Horrible Stay

We rented this home for the 4th of July weekend, it had good parking and close to the beach. That is were the positives end. The bad: the floors were filthy and the blue couch looked like someone was living on it for days, food and hair all over it. The refrigerator tipped dangerously when you open the door. The ice maker didn’t work and there was a piece of one of the fridge drawers set on top of the fridge that fell when the refrigerator tipped forward. We tried to adjust the level on the fridge so we could open it with out the contents rolling out. The single AC unit kept the first floor cool, but the upstairs where the two bedrooms and full bath are located was blistering hot(82 degrees) outside temp was 90 degrees. The ceiling fan in the back bedroom didn’t work. The bed frame is broken and one of the nightstand is broken. Making the bedroom unusable. Don’t worry there is an office on the first floor with a kids trundle bed. Except the barn door doesn’t slide because the stopper on the end is missing so when you open the door it slides to far and comes off the rail. So my elderly mother slept on the little kids bed and my elderly father slept on the couch once we were able to vacuum as much of the crumbs and hair off it and lay a bed sheet down. The full bath faucet’s hot water handle is so loose you need to grab the bottom from under the vanity and turn the faucet handle to turn it off/on. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. We spent as much of our time away from this run down crap fest as possible. If you liked the fact that a laundry facility was onsite- get ready to listen to a steady pattern of high pitched squeal to a even higher death holler from the dryer. What put the dryer to the test, two swim trunks, four t-shirts and two pair of underwear, was too much for the run down pile. A place to relax this was not. If you want an over priced place to park close to the beach then this is it. If you want a clean house that functions keep looking. If you do rent it and decide to let the property management know of the issues, you will be responded with a reassuring, “We will let our local team know about the issues. Thank you.” In the end our time spent here was miserable and instead of the relaxing home base we had planned on, we got a run down, broken mess to call home for three days.

The location is awesome, a short walk to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. Downfalls are minor but annoying. The dryer makes a God awful noise when in use and the stove is very uneven.

Close to the beach but not ideal

This house was a perfect location and quiet but that is the only things positive I can say about the property. I was disappointed in the hot tub being out of order and was hugely disappointed I wasn’t contacted before arriving and warned about the advertised amenity not being available . The house was not clean to my standards. The air conditioner didn’t cool the back of the house properly, there were fans that helped but just made it bearable.

Could be so awesome

First the positives, location is great! 1/2 block from the beach, 1/2 block in the other direction to mini golf, yet still a quiet neighborhood. The unit was cute, and pretty spacious. With all that; it could be an incredible rental, unfortunately there were a few issues. The advertised hot tub was out of order, and the rest of the back yard was mess. This included several piles of dog poop. Inside there were some annoying electrical issues, the fan lights would randomly turn on/off. The only way to prevent the lights from turning on was to shut off the fan completely. This was not ideal since the air conditioning does vents in any of the bedrooms. Contacting the property manager, Vacasa, did not help. There were no offers to remediate the situation, only a request to bring in a package the owner had shipped to the unit(!) Overall cute apartment with a great location, but needs some TLC & attention to detail.

Good stay overall...

We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. There were issues with the dryer not having a knob to turn it on, and TV issues, but overall it was a good stay for our family. There were plenty of pans and dishes for preparing Thanksgiving dinner. We liked only having to walk a half a block for beach access.

Disappointing

Upon arrival we noticed every ceiling vent was covered in black mold. Dishes in the cabinets were dirty. Towels were as rough as sandpaper. Found dirty socks from previous renter, coffee table was dirty. Backyard was overgrown with tall weeds and branches- not well kept at all. Hot tub was a mess, had beer caps, rocks, sand, leaves, and even tadpoles in it. I reached out to property management on our first day (tuesday), they assured me that someone would be out to clean it Thursday (2 days before we leave). Thursday came around and no one showed up. Reached out again, they then told me that it wasn’t their responsibility to clean it, it was the HOA’s - and that it was not something they could not fix for me. So why did they promise someone would come to clean it Thursday? No clue. We later tested it and the hot tub doesn’t even work. We asked for a refund but no surprise they were not willing to give it. Otherwise it was an okay place to stay, short walk to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Has potential to be a great place to stay if they took better care of it.
