It was a fantastic stay in a cute small town. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The check in process was easy and the owner responded instantly to messages. The patio was so great. Highly recommend for an easy getaway with friends or family.

The whole home was well appointed! It had everything we needed and then some. The location is great. We walked to breakfast, supper, and even dessert downtown Belton. If you're staying in Belton consider this property you won't be disappointed!

BHS graduation trip

Gorgeous property with fantastic hosts! Were thankful our trip was so easy. We had plenty of space and lots to do in the area. Would enjoy staying here again in the future.

Quaint and quiet!

We loved our stay. Sitting on the back deck making s’mores and listening to the creek was heavenly. The home is quaint and cozy!

Excellent getaway

This was a fun quirky old jail turned into a rental property that was tons of fun. The host was quick to reply and very kind. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice and clean property with interesting history and character. Good location and proximity to downtown/restaurants and shopping. Host was easy to contact and attentive.Stairs are wood and a little steep, but there is a railing and there are markings on stairs for safety purposes.

WILL STAY AGAIN.

Wonderful stay. Amazing location. Walk to the square for food, drinks. River could not have been better. Cool, shallow. Great history in the building and town.Attended graduations at Baylor Waco and Round Rock Stoney Point High. Convenient for both.

Excellent time in the Clink

The Clink on the Creek is a fun historical place to stay. Walking distance to some of Belton’s best spots and everything you’d need to have a great time- cornhole, adult sized swing, fires pit and grills and a fully stocked kitchen. I expect we will be back.

We absolutely loved it here. Beautiful and peaceful even though it is blocks from downtown Belton. It river was clean and clear. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the ducks and the river. Perfect hideaway. With history

Eclipse Retreat

We booked this stay so we could observe and film the Total Eclipse. It is a wonderful historic home with the bonus of having Nolan Creek behind the house. Our family was able to meet us there and enjoy the house, visiting and the Eclipse. If we have a reason to get back to Belton we would definitely book this place. The hosts made it very easy and provided a beautiful venue.

Creekside view was so restful.

Three family women on a girl’s trip. Was perfect. Great location- can walk to coffee shop and restaurants. The deck overlooking the creek was wonderful - we spent most of our time there. Charming house. We are already talking about returning. Thank you so much.

Beautiful Belton Stay

Loved the quaint Bell County Historic Jail (and reading the Bloody Bell County book). Setting on the Nolan Creek and location within walking distance to Water Street Waffles, etc was awesome. House was wonderfully stocked with all we needed for our stay. Many thx to Maile!!! Highly recommend.

Weekend Trip

Uniquely and tastefully designed to complement the historic significance of the property. The home was fully stocked and provided all possible comforts and conveniences. The host was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The jail theme made for a fun experience and the backyard decks and creek access was truly perfect for an entertaining and enjoyable weekend with friends and family. Highly recommended and we will stay again.

Quiet Getaway

This place was perfect for a quiet getaway. My family and I enjoyed ourselves outside on the back patio just listening to the rustling of the creek water and watching the ducks swim. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped with everyday essentials. The sleeping quarters are spacious and comfy. We were in walking distance to restaurants. We shall stay again when we are in Belton. Thanks for a great weekend.
