Green Bay Waterfront Cottage. Fantastisk sommarresort. 25 minuter från Lambeau Field

Detta är en klassisk reträtt vid vattnet i Wisconsin. Denna nyrenoverade stuga inkluderar trägolv (bambu), nytt kök, klinkerglas dusch. Mysig tillflyktsort för familj / vän gaterings. Stora rummet har vedspis, nya soffor, enormt matbord (måltider, spel etc.) och utsikt över bukten med hela väggen. Rymligt ytterdäck med utsikt över 200 "vattnet inkluderar utemöbler och gasgrill. Bara en kort (25 min) körning till Lambeau Field för Packer-träning, pre-säsong och spel. Vatten vid bryggan ger utmärkt tillgång för kajakpaddling, paddling och fiske (liten båt). Stort främre gräs ger plats för volleyboll och annat utomhus-kul. Oconto är en närliggande stad med många små restauranger och tavernor.

Sovrumsuppsättningen inkluderar ett slutet sovrum på första våningen och två sovrum på andra våningen (ett slutet, ett med öppen järnväg med utsikt över storrummet nedan).

Integriteten är stor. Vatten på ena sidan och skogen på alla tre andra sidorna. Vi har vårt trädbevuxna tomma parti på ena sidan, och State Reserve (DNR) skogsmark på två andra.

Vattnet är klart och varmt. Kanot, kajak och roddbåt är tillgängliga för hyresgäster på begäran.

Beautiful Property

Amazing property on the water- the pictures of the listing don’t do justice! I’ve stayed at many rentals and this is by far one of my favorites I have been to and I want to go back! There were some really bad storms so we ended up losing power for over a day but that didn’t even matter! Everything was well stocked, clean and just such beautiful views! We stayed three nights and did not want to leave.

Completely Shocked!!

The pictures do not do this cabin justice. My husband and I were blown away by how quaint, and clean this cabin was. Plenty of necessities to use and the location was absolutely stunning. We spent chilly nights in front of the wood burning fireplace and loved every minute of it. Thank you for everything and we look forward to booking this cabin again soon!! We will definitely be back

Nice weekend

Stayed a week for anniversary. Liked the quiet and privacy, as well as the nearby quiet restaurants we visited. For more excitement and fancier restaurants, green bay is only 25 minutes away.

Amazing Experience - Highly Recommend!

Daughter and I stayed for a week for our late summer vacation. Place had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked to cook full meals. Grilled outside. Relaxed on the back porch and around the fire. Super quiet and peaceful. Room to play around in the backyard. View of the bay very tough to beat. Donny is an amazing host. Been recommending to anyone looking for a getaway in the woods. Was my first time renting this place but won’t be my last! Thanks for everything!

Great escape from the Texas heat

The property surpassed our expectations based upon the photos provided, without a doubt one of the best VRBO properties we have stayed at so far. Communication with the property owner was exceptional and any issues and/or questions were answered promptly. As a Wisconsin native (now retired military in Texas) it was good to visit the town of Oconto and the surrounding area. The towns people were very friendly and the staff at The Dockside (phenomenal food and drinks) offered many recommendations at my request. Overall a great place to stay and can see why there are many return customers to this home.

Beautiful, as always. Saw three new birds this year (oriole, humming birds, and an osprey) and the 5 a.m. kayak always has eagles, herons, kingfishers, and duck families in the reeds. We'll be back again next year!

A Wonderful Place to Relax and Reconnect with Nature

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is in a quiet location, nestled in the woods, with a view across the bay. If you want to just get away from it all, a stay at this property comes highly recommended.

Great little getaway

Lovely, clean, cozy, quiet and well stocked with extras. Owner available if any questions. But really needs a new stove because this one is very hard to regulate the oven temp. and the oven is very small. Also could use some pots and pans. Especially if you like to cook or need too. Great bay vistas and morning sun.

Delightful cabin with a spectacular view

From the moment we drove in to the property, we loved it! The outside is delightful, but deceptive. Our family of 6 (including 4 older children ranging between 14 and 22) comfortably utilized the cabin for our week there. Of special note: - the attention to detail that Donny provides with this cabin. The cupboards and fridge are stocked with spices, cooking oils, ice trays (with ice!), foil, plastic wrap - to name but a few of the usually absent supplies - along with a wide assortment of cooking utensils and pots/ containers. The shower has shampoo and conditioner dispensers! Extra pillows and comforters for those cool(er) evenings. And that is not even mentioning the vast selection of DVD's, reading material, and binoculars to get a closer look at the birds and other wildlife he has in his bookcase. So many nice surprises. - the kitchen/ dining table is worth the visit all by itself. A work of art with lots of room for ongoing jigsaw puzzles as well as a full meal. - plenty of firewood for the outdoor and indoor fire areas. - excellent privacy on all sides. A long driveway brings you in, and there are woods on all 3 sides with the lake to the east. While there are houses to the south of the cabin, we could occasionally hear the happy shouts from their children swimming but never saw them. - we made friends with 2 spectacular owls as we traversed the road into the cabin. A definite highlight. Thank you for a most enjoyable week. We very much appreciated it!

We are a fun-loving family. We live in downtown Milwaukee and love the city cultural life. We also love to get away and spend time with our family and friends.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This cottage has a lot of family history. My mom and dad picked out this property for its beautiful, sandy waterfront, secluded woods, and easy drive from Milwaukee (2 1/2 hours with a stop). Having a nearby small town (Oconto) and larger city (Green Bay) offered a variety of activities, attractions, and shopping.

Morning coffee on the lakefront deck in the morning is our favorite time (sometimes sunrise). A huge variety of birds (Herons, Pellicans, Cranes, Eagles) frequently fly close by. Evenings often end with a fireside (campfire pit) chat, and star gazing.
