KÀnn "havsprayen i ditt ansikte" medan du tittar pÄ fÄglar och delfiner frÄn det enorma dÀck i detta 3-enheter radhus med namnet Mi Casa. Atlanten framför och Matanzas flodinlopp pÄ sidan. Mycket privat hundvÀnlig strand i ett hus vid havet utan bilar tillÄtna pÄ stranden och ingen allmÀn tillgÄng. (vi Àr en ö som Àr ansluten till fastlandet med Hwy A1A-broar i varje Ànde). NÀr tidvattnet ut barnen har jÀttekul att söka tidvatten pooler för critters. Fort Matanzas National Monument ligger pÄ andra sidan bron över gÄngavstÄnd, med gratis bÄttur till fortet och en fantastisk naturstig. 2 miles norr kan du hyra bÄtar och kajaker och köpa bete. 3 mil söderut ligger Marineland dÀr du kan simma med delfiner eller Äka pÄ guidad tur med kajak. CykelvÀg mil i bÄda riktningarna. Havsrestaurang vid havet, tvÀrs över gatan dÀr du kan ta med din hund, och ett gas- / nÀrbutik 1 kvarter bort. Brick kolgrill utanför. Fullt utrustat kök för en helg eller 6 mÄnader.

Wonderful view. Cant get any closer to the water unless your on a boat. Owner was very informative and easy to contact. House was furnished with almost everything you would need. Perfect for a family getaway!!

This is our second time staying at this property. We love being so close to the ocean. There were sea turtles swimming in front of the condo all week. Barry & Pat were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing place

Perfect for dogs. Not too crowded. Saw sea turtles, dolphins and caught sheepshead. Fabulous weather. The house was very well stocked with everything you could need.

Perfect location

If you are a beach lover this is the place for you! I had a broken foot so not having to walk far was key! The patio is on the beach so you can stay there or walk 10 steps to be in the sand! Unbelievable variety and abundance of birds if you enjoy that also. Host was very approachable and responsive.

Great location

We loved the location and the incredibly secluded beach. We had a great time bringing our dog on the beach. The owner was great to work with and very helpful when needed. Highly recommend this rental.

We love staying at Matanzas' Inlet. It is a beautiful place and MiCasa is a very nice condo with great views and comfortable beds. The owner always responds immediately if you have any needs. Thank you for allowing us to stay there.

Perfect beach vacation

MiCasa has everything you could want in a beach vacation. All the comforts of home but the ocean is your front yard. We have stayed in a few homes along the ocean and this by far is the best beach for kayaking, privacy, and the inlet provides a better overall swimming experience.

We had the best time. The private beach was perfect for our dogs. There are lots of things to do near by, but we spent most our time at the property. Everything we needed was right there and we hope to visit again.

We're both retired business owners who breed parrots as a hobby. On our 55 acre farm covered with 100+ year old grandfather oaks we have dogs & cats on rat & predator patrol duty, cows, horses, guineas, peacocks, chickens and many breeding pairs of macaws, cockatoos and african greys. We're both Florida natives; me from Lakeland, Pat from Jacksonville

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We love the quiet & solitude. When we moved to NE Florida in 1998 we visited St Augustine public beach and were not impressed by the crowds. 2011 was the first time we returned, and discovered Mi Casa. Our place on Summer Haven Island is the closest thing to a private beach you'll find for under $10 million. As soon as we stood on the deck, which really is on the beach, we told the realtor 'we'll take it!' Some of the yearly renters have come back 10 years in a row, and everyone has written wonderful reviews of the location and the upgrades we've made. We're always amazed at the condos that can't offer what Mi Casa has. They're a challenge just to walk the distance out their crowded walkway over sand dunes to the waters edge. Mi Casa has us spoiled. Walking down our 5' wide steps onto the beach is an unfair comparison. The rod holders on the deck railing are your first clue that nobody else is this close to the water! Some say it's like being on a boat!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Waking to the roar of the ocean is a wonderful experience. Coffee on the deck, then 2nd cup on the beach letting the dogs run free (oops, the leash slipped out of my hand). Birds huddled on the sandbar in front. Discover turtle nests in season, and shells and critters caught in the tidal pools or rent a bike and enjoy the miles of paved bike paths north and south. Spot a sea turtle or manatee or dolphins swimming past. Whales pass in front but I haven't spotted one myself. Watch the kite boarders sail 20' into the air. Watch the Ospreys shake in flight like a dog after diving for fish. Last year a Bald Eagle pair regularly fished out front off the rocks. Gaze at the shrimp boats with binoculars (provided) then drive up the road & buy tonights shrimp dinner you watched being caught. View the stars in the near total darkness. Or watch a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. Cross over the bridge & explore Fort Matanzas and its nature trail for free.
