Spelrum för barn med airhockey och bordtennisbord. Boyta alla trĂ€golv. LyxuppsĂ€ttning, Ă€kta lĂ€dersoffor. TillgĂ„ng till sjön ligger 400 meter frĂ„n huset. En 14 fots anka med 4 HP utombordare kan hyras för $ 50 per dag. En kanot och 2 kajaker och en pedal stĂ„r till ditt förfogande gratis för sjön. 3 cyklar gratis. We were here as a family of 5 and 3 generations. We wanted a place in Maine where we could get away.Pros:Quiet, the downstairs porch is lovely. Plently of dishes. Washer and dryer set up worked well. Downstairs layout worked for our family.2 Big rooms upstairs. One shared bathroom was spacious, did not use the jetted tub.Challenges*The kitchen, while usable, had erratic supplies (no crackers/picks/real lobster set up as advertised), the knife situation was... challenging. We did not have enough garbage bags for the kitchen eitherAccessing the lake takes a car, a hike and portage over rocks.The pond in the back has a giant alligator snapper and small children cannot go near it.It might have a lot of land, but there are no walking trails in the woods.The outdoor set up is indifferent and not really indicative that anyone really uses it. The grill caught fire when we tried to use it.The house was fine, but for the price, it was really not comparable as other properties. In all, we were comfortable and but has minimal value for the price and location.*The property is clearly for sale

We loved staying in this beautiful house. The property is large and peaceful and while it feels very remote it is not that far from the larger roads that bring you into Orono and Bangor. The house is a great layout for a group with comfortable living room, deck and balcony, all beds used were very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Highly recommend this rental.

Lovely home in a great spot! Convenient to UMaine.

We visited for the long weekend and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The house is perfect for a family. Two huge bedrooms upstairs with king beds and two rooms each with two twin beds in the basement. The living area is comfortable and the yard and pond are lovely. We didn’t see a moose or porcupine, but we did see some deer. Everyone wants to go back for another visit!

Nice property, cool turtle

Very nice property, the hot tub in its own shack was super cool as well! The pond has a bunch of fish and a snapping turtle that ate hotdogs, very fun! You can see the stars amazing from the backyard

We had a nice relaxing time here! Not far from Acadia NP. The lake nearby is beautiful. We saw tons of wildlife! Host is wonderful and very accommodating!

Enjoyed our stay

We had a nice time here; we were in town for a family reunion. Kids loved the activities (yard games, hot tub, pool table, and air hockey). It was a little tricky to find at first but we figured it out. Some of us didn't have great cell service, but that was true across much of the state.

Family Getaway

Upon arrival, we received a tour of the rental from Andrea. He was just a text message away and friendly/responsive to any questions we had. The rental is nicer than the vrbo photos portray. Cozy home in the woods, no sounds of the highway - just nature. Also, just a short 5-10 min walk to the lake and a 20 min drive into town for groceries. We can't wait to go back!

It is very big . Bedrooms are great!!! Very quiet area. Saids slept 8 but we had to pay more over 4 adult and a baby. Not sure what the cut off is for charging more. Not to bad $20 a person per night. Very easy to deal with and quick taking care of anything. Would stay there again. !!!!

Homeaway wish we could stay!

While staying at property the property manager was nothing but helpful and kind. He was very knowledgeable and the house was immaculate also much larger in person the pictures do not do justice ! My children absolutely loved the playroom area in basement! We had so much fun! The area is very secluded, was a wonderful stay, and a beautiful home. Thank you so much! We had a great time at this home getaway !

I lived many years in Europe and this is my place in the maine woods. It reminds me so much of Germany/France with the many lakes and forests only that there is much more nature and animals here in Maine. Paradise for me.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Because I fell in love with it. It is in the woods but only 20 minutes from the big shopping centers or the airport. The people who live year round there are very nice and helpful. And the House is very beautifull.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The air is so pure and the water is so clean and the people are so friendly. I have traveled the whole world, but this is home away from home, just perfect and beautiful. Take a cup of coffee in the morning overlooking the pond, watching the deer passing by, what more can you ask for.
