Welcome to Butternut Cabin, the original cabin at Pilgrim Heights. Built in the early 1940s just after Sportsmanâs Lake was created, this space was once a summer house for roller rink workers, later served as a staff cabin, and after years of sitting quiet, itâs been brought back to life for short stays, camps, and retreats.
Tucked right beside the lake, Butternut offers peaceful views from its private deck and a cozy, rustic feel inside. It features a king bed, futon, kitchenette (microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and hot plate), AC and a private bathroom with a hot shower.
Your stay supports more than just a weekend getawayârental proceeds help fund programs for youth and families to experience nature, community, and rest here at Pilgrim Heights.
