Bucks Bear Lodge is a three-bedroom cabin that offers a tranquil ambiance and is equipped with a beautiful outdoor firepit, a covered area with an outdoor fireplace, and numerous balconies where you can sit and appreciate nature. The living room also features a fireplace, providing you with ample comfort and warmth.

Inside, you'll find the kitchen is well-stocked with all the utensils and cookware you could need, along with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The dining table can seat up to six people, and there are also three additional spots at the bar. The main bedroom is located upstairs and features a King bed, a private bathroom, and patio/deck access. There is also a living area upstairs with a couch and TV. The second bedroom is located on the main level and has two single beds and a TV. This main-level bathroom is where you'll find the washer and dryer, too. The third bedroom, located downstairs, features a king-size bed and a full bathroom.

Outdoors, you can enjoy cooking on the propane grill with outdoor dining for 4. You'll also have a swing, rocking chairs, and plenty of comfortable seating options near the outdoor fireplace to enjoy gathering with family and friends. Located in the scenic Coosawattee River Resort, this cabin also offers access to a variety of amenities, including an indoor pool, two outdoor pools, and a game room. Day passes can be purchased at the resort for $10 per guest per day.

Perfect Fall Getaway

Loved our stay at Bucks Bear Lodge! Beautiful and spacious with everything you could want. Comfy beds and plush towels. Gas fireplaces, but bring wood for the fire pit. The road through the resort is narrow and winding, so just be aware. There are also many deer roaming around.

Nice amenities in house, well-stocked. Hot tub would be an improvement. Not a great location, not private, surrounded by houses.

Fun with Friends

The hurricane washed out our house near Ashville so we made a plan B and it was a great choice. The owners have done a great job with their house. It is warm and inviting. We will be back!

Our stay at Buck's Bear Lodge

The house is beautiful as is the gated community. Everything went really well - great communication throughout. The only issue we had at all was the price of the amenities card. The listing said it would be $10 for a day pass, so we waited until midway through our stay for a day when we would be able to make good use of the pass. Turns out there aren't day passes any more - it is a 1 time fee of $59 that covers your entire stay (for up to 4 people). Had we known that, we would have bought the pass on the first day and then used the pools/rec center for a short time each day. This was truly a minor inconvenience, but it could be a bigger issue for some. We certainly won't hesitate to come back - this was one of our best vacations ever. We are very pleased.

Peaceful getaway!

Loved this cabin. Everything was awesome from check in to check out. The cabin was very clean and modern. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. Loved sitting out on the back with the fireplace and the front porch with the swing. The cabin had several options for outdoor seating which we loved. The fire pit was a nice touch, we made S’mores one night. The highlight of the trip was getting to see the deer everyday! I was sad when it was time to leave. This was the best trip, very peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back!!

Guy's Summer Vacation

The property was clean, new and very nice. Plenty of room for a group of 5. The deck was very nice to hang out in the morning and evenings. We used the grill every night and there was plenty of space in the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was convenient for Ellijay, Blue Ridge, hiking in GA and whitewater rafting in TN.

Wonderful Cabin

We had a fabulous stay! The cabin was exactly as it was advertised online. There was a nice welcome basket with snacks that were perfect for the children. We enjoyed siting on the porch and watching the deer. Our GPS took us directly to the cabin and aided us as we found our way around the resort. The kids loved access to the pools and pickled all courts. We would love to visit again! Thanks for a great stay!
