Nice place but could use some improvements

This is a cute and spacious place. The color scheme and decor were nice. The location was also convenient being about 10 -15 minutes from Uptown. However, the cleanliness of the place was lacking a bit. The walls had a number of spots on them and wall near the master toilet had specks of something on it, which totally grossed me out. When my travel partner pulled the covers back on her bed, she found a bottle of children’s Tylenol under the covers. and the shower curtain in the hallway bath was not clean. This led us to believe the place is not professionally cleaned and sanitized in between guest. Also the water was weird in that shower. The hot water came through as soon as you turned the knob on and as you kept turning, the cold water came through. It was like they were reversed. So, the water pressure with the hot water was weak because it was almost to the off position. Also, we were not able to get the overhead lights to come in in two of the bedrooms which made it a little difficult to get dressed at night because the only other lighting were the bedside table lamps. These are things I feel should have been checked prior to guests checking in. I can say the host was very responsive and easy to contact. I would also suggest a bigger TV in the sitting area. Overall, my stay here served the purpose of us having accommodations for the weekend, but cleanliness is a must for me and this place fell short.
