Homer Stay

We had a great time staying here in Homer! Very close to the boat lunch for day tours. Grateful for the help during the booking process.

Fun stay on the Homer Spit.

We enjoyed our stay in this nice townhouse. It’s right in the beach and perfect for our group of two couples. Communication was great. The space is nicely appointed. We cooked most of our meals there and found most everything including some basic seasonings onsite. There was one broken deck chair that was left inside the space. At first we were confused but then realized they wanted to be sure we didn’t sit in it. The deck was great too.

Great views and location!

This property was very comfortable for three children and six adults. The location cannot be better; literally on the very end of the homer spit. While the weather did not allow for the best of views, when there were a couple breaks, it was truly spectacular. We enjoyed watching see otters float by end. We would love to be able to take advantage of the fire pit on the beach next time (hopefully no rain!). Check in was easy And when we forgot a bag at checkout a property manager contact us quickly, so we were able to retrieve it. I highly recommend this property for a family or couples getaway.

The location and view of this property is phenomenal. Walking distance to the shops on the Homer Spit, the docks, and beachcombing. It is apparent the owners or managers have allowed this property to be a “cash cow” while deferring significant maintenance. The flooring in the kitchen/dining/living area is in very rough condition. A towel bar is not attached to the wall. Rusted and potentially dangerous deck furnishings. A cracked window (which I believe was cracked when we stayed there about 4-5 yrs ago). Cracked counter tiles in the kitchen. The upstairs is in much better condition. I brought all this to the attention of property management and was compensated with a 10% discount. They did respond quickly and admitted the property should be in better condition for the nightly rate charged. On our last night, we moved the couch slightly to better view the tv for a movie. Lots of old food and crumbs under the couch that was pretty gross, so we vacuumed that up after moving the couch fully to get it all. Homer is stunning and beautiful. This rental showcases the views in a phenomenal way, but it needs some TLC to justify the price.

Family Reunion

Enjoyed being back in Homer where I grew up. Property provided space for four couples easily-rented both places. Kitchen well equipped. Loved access to the beach.

Great Homer stay

The property was perfect for our stay for the weekend. Amazing view of Ketchamek Bay right on the beach. One of the nicest places we have stayed at in Homer.

Excellent location

Our family really enjoyed the location and the accommodations. If you have a large family, make sure to rent the full unit. We did and it was perfect for my wife and I, my parents, and our two teenage kids. The check in was a little delayed understandably because we were out of season. (We are Alaskans and totally get it) Once I connected with the property manager, the communication was prompt, friendly, and clear. We would reserve with them again.

Nice quiet weeek

We stayed mid week - weekend. We did rent the whole condo which I would recommend. I’m not sure how the sound would be downstairs without renting the place and having control of the upstairs area. The kids enjoyed going to the beach and collecting items. We were able to see orcas from the beach during our stay which was super fun! We are life long Alaskans and spend a decent amount of time in Homer during the summer. My sister was in the rv park and we were able to have some quality family time. Looking forward to opportunities renting here in future summers.
