My second time staying here and I love it. It’s quiet and safe. For 1-3 people it’s perfect. I look forward to staying again next year!!

The place is small but better than a hotel room except for the shower. Definitely not big enough for a man. Enjoyed the deck and the view of the lake. The campground is very nice

Unit was very clean with a beautiful view of the lake. Owner was very accommodating when we requested an early check-in. Very comfortable bed and we really appreciated the complimentary Keurig coffee as we sat on the large deck each morning. The only negative we can say is the smell of the water (sulfur/rotten egg odor). If you took a shower, the smell filled the unit and took a while to dissipate. The addition of a water filter would make this a perfect stay!

We absolutely loved this little tiny house! It was perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). The boys thought the loft was the coolest part and loved sleeping up there. We will definitely be back to stay longer next time! The only issue we really had was that the water had a noticeable sulfur smell. We ended up brushing our teeth with bottled water, and since we were getting ready for a wedding, I just didn’t feel as clean after showering. This is no fault of the owner.. I only wanted to mention it because I appreciate reading honest reviews before booking, and I thought future guests might find it helpful to know. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it!

We had an amazing and extremely accommodating stay at Glacier Hill. Staff was friendly and welcoming and our place was clean and comfortable. We were in town unfortunately for a funeral but are looking forward to making another trip back when the weather is nice to take advantage of the amenities and to take advantage of all that is offered. Thank you very much for having us, and for the thoughtful flowers 3 The Schultz Fam

We enjoyed our stay at Glacier Hill. We booked last minute so that we could be with family in Botkins for Christmas. The cabin/tiny house was perfect for me, my husband, and our two dogs. We appreciated Michele’s quick response back to us with the details of our stay. She was very helpful with any questions we had and she made sure that our stay was very enjoyable.

Really nice cabin. Right on the lake. Very quiet. A lot of ducks which was cool. Cabin was clean. More than enough room for me. I will be staying again next time I go out there.

Two night stay

The staff were great, accommodating us to get in early. The cabin was clean and amenities nice. Not sure but I think Wi-Fi was extra. Two problems we had would cause us to not go back: the water was from a well and had a high sulfur smell (rotten eggs). They should put filters in to eliminate this. Second problem was geese and ducks were around and pooping on grounds and road. They put feed out for them so the birds didn’t want to leave. Again, the park staff was great.

Clean and cozy

On the positive side, it was cozy and the area is very pretty. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately there is no internet in the area due to a tornado a few months ago, therefore no Roku, so no tv. They should probably mention that the water is sulphur water. Also, the shower is very small with a low ceiling. Very pretty wooded location though and probably priced accordingly!

The original site we were on ended up having issues with the air conditioning which would be normal for how hot it was outside (96F) but the emergency shut off wasn't working and the fan started burning which was a major fire hazard, we got moved to another site but had to wait over an hour to make sure that site was open for us to move into. The second site was fine but very dirty, we showed up while she was still cleaning so maybe we made her nervous so she left but the loft carpet was completely matted with dog hair so much that I felt like I was breathing it and it was spreading from the loft to the main area the more we moved around. Also on the second site that evening the water stopped working probably close to around 7pm and didn't come back on until the next morning. We only really got one day the enjoy the campground so I asked if it was possible to get another night and unfortunately the site was rented so they couldn't do another night but we were allowed to come back and use amenities today. Communications was good, check in was good when we arrived, the pool was fun, splash pad was closed the whole time, cleanliness was ok but not great. Overall the short time we actually got to spend there was enjoyable but other then that it was bad or just ok. I wish someone would have offered at least a partially refund for the time we lost because I believe our trip was ruined but nothing was ever mentioned as far as what they could do, I personally had to ask for more time

Second time to stay. Great property for weekend getaway with kids. Allows dogs. Neighbors friendly. Safe, quiet at night. Pool, splash pad, playground are nice. Mini golf course in bad shape and no longer usable. Hopefully this will be updated and made usable for future. WiFi did not work for us unless sitting at the pool. Not a big deal but for those who rely on connection could be a let down. Easy check in and check out. Recommend Max’s Dairy for ice cream a short drive away. Issue during our stay was the water from tap not usable and had a strong, horrible sulfur smell and a slimy feel of you did wash hands from tap water. Had to boil water. We did get jugs of distilled water at local Dollar Tree to use for washing/brushing teeth entire weekend. Could not shower for weekend there. Not owners fault but was a bit of a bummer. Will stay here again if available. Property is listed for sale.

The description of the property is misleading. The building is actually a mobile trailer or a "tiny house" as some call it. One of the beds (a couch really) is located in a loft where you cannot stand up (you must crawl to the bed. The stairs are very narrow. The double bed in the bedroom had a sheet on it that was too small so it kept coming off and we slept on the plastic protective cover that night. We did not stay but one day because the sulfur odor coming from the faucet smelled like rotten eggs and filled the entire trailer. We were thankful to get a refund for the remaining days. The worst of all, I believe left my study bible there and I have repeatedly tried reaching them to see if they have it. However, no return emails or calls. I am very sad to loose that bible and would like help getting ahold of them. The positives were the staff present at the time were pleasant and the trailer was clean an new.

Enjoyed the property but time was spent visiting family in neighboring towns so did not use the awesome amenities. Loved our morning walks on the grounds. Enjoyed the deck. Did not like the smell of the water and the tvs did not work. The bedroom tv came on but kept buffering. Not good connection The cabin was very clean. Neighbors were friendly
