Home Away From Home

This property is absolute perfection. The host has literally thought of every detail. You feel like you just stepped into a home on HGTV! The beds were very comfy, towels fluffy, everything extremely clean and smelled wonderful! The host was incredible with communication too! We will definitely be back!

Very happy with our stay.

Came to Gainesville for my daughter in laws Graduation. Very short drive to campus. The property was exactly as shown in the pics. It was clean, comfortable and decorated with the guests in mind. It had everything that we needed. Beds were comfy and the backyard space was private and a nice place to sit and hang out with the family. Perfect for my dog to run around. Kate was very quick to respond to any questions. We were very happy with our stay.

This place is AWESOME! Clean,convenient and almost everything you can imagine is there ready to use! Beds are super comfortable and we will stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality!

Baseball weekend

My wife, daughter and dogs came down for the last 2 games of the Columbia baseball series and had a fantastic time. The property itself is fantastic, as the owner’s interior design background is readily apparent. Everything is beautifully presented and clean, and we appreciate it being pup friendly with a little backyard for them. The owner herself was fantastic in accommodating our stay. The only thing worth mentioning is that the neighborhood is, what’s the fancy word, transitional. So convenient to the stadium and all things Gainesville, just worth being aware of. Thank you Kate for the great stay!

Just like home!

My mother and I stayed here for the week while we took my dog to UF for a surgery. The house was beautiful and super clean! It smelled amazing and it immediately felt like home! Kate is AMAZING and her communication was top notch! She immediately responded to any question I had and I was so thankful for that! The house was super cozy and had everything we needed! We loved the house and the owner so much that I will definitely plan to be using Kate’s amazingly cute home if we return to Gainesville! Thank you so much!

My previous degree in finance took a big detour and I left it to pursue a Master's degree at UF in interior architecture! It is my pleasure to be an excellent host and my aim is for my guests to be more than happy with their stay. My life motto is: The power of positivity. I prefer to look at temporary "problems" as possibilities. I also have a 9 year old pitbull/lab mix who is a kind-hearted snuggler and an avid lover! It is my pleasure to welcome your pets with you, as I love bringing mine along when I travel too!

The neighborhood is typical of Gainesville with a mix of renters and homeowners. It is quiet and SUPER central to so many of Gainesville's wonderful amenities including UF/Stadium 2-2.5 miles away as well as the major hospitals and Archer Rd. It is about 40 minutes from the very popular natural springs as well!

The property high soaring vaulted ceilings, an open living space great for making memories and a floor plan that allows for privacy with the two ensuite bedrooms on opposite sides of the home. We also allow for you to bring your furry companions for a small $45 extra cleaning fee as we love to travel with our own, too! The large fenced in backyard is perfect for their enjoyment!
