Welcome To 317; a fresh take on the living work space environment situated on the 3rd floor of the historic William H. Block building in the heart of downtown Indianapolis.

It doesn't matter how you spend your time at 317, you'll feel right at home. With some of the best bars and restaurants in town just a short distance from the building and plenty of space to work and play inside, you'll be ready to rest, indulge, and breath again.

The minimalist open concept provides a space that promotes productivity, focus, and happiness allowing for less stress and more productivity. When you're ready to head out, hop in an Uber and grab food at Bluebeard in Fountain Square, swing by 16-bit Bar+Arcade in Mass Ave for drinks and games or walk over to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for a live event downtown. You're within just 20 minutes of some of the best spots Indy has to offer when you stay at 317.

Quiet hours begin at 10:00pm. Music and noise levels should always be kept down to a respectful level at all times so as to not upset any neighbors.

Always keep your key fob with you at all times when exiting the building. Upon check out, please leave the key fob on the white tray next to the door.

Nice place to stay

Great location, clean place. Could use a couple more things like a cookie sheet, hot pad, and some laundry soap pods for those staying a few days, but hey, it does say minimalist.

Great time in Indy!

We stayed at James place in Indianapolis for four nights over the Big Ten weekend in Indianapolis. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and just as it was pictured. There were no surprises. Super convenient location, close to everything we needed. We really enjoyed ourselves for the Big Ten weekend and we would definitely stay again at James place!

This was within walking distance of so many attractions. Located in a historic building and lots of local restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

Great Location

This property is in the heart of downtown. Everything is within walking distance including the sports venues, many quality restaurants, interesting historical sites and various city attractions. We found the apartment to be clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. James quickly responded to our inquiries. We would stay there again.

Old and not well kept propery. Unable to comunicate woth owner, telephone number provided was not his. Stainned bedshits and towels, TV did not work. Clogged bathroom tub. Area was really nice and convenient to get around

PERFECT

Absolutely love this property. It is in the perfect area. It is easy to get to wherever you want. There’s restaurants around Lucas oil. Stadium was right down the road. I will see the process easy check-in was easy except it seemed to forgot the code. I don’t know why so I did have to wait until people were coming to going to get in but other than that I could get into the door just fine with the same code so but it’s a beautiful, beautiful place and the manager answered our questions immediately I did not want to bother him about the process code because it was nighttime who knows maybe it was me the User anyways would love to stay here again. Awesome property keep up the great work. !

Great design and cleanliness, could use a little more comfort

It is a very esthetically pleasing design, tastefully and creatively done. The living room is comfortable, appliances are all good but no detergent or sponges to wash dishes was a surprise. However the kitchen had plates and flatware and pots and pans that were all fine. The bed was a little firmer than i prefer and the pillows were more like couch cushions. Fortunately had brought a pillow & no sheets for the spare convertible couch. overall though, very satisfied with the room and would definitely rent again.

I have a passion for art, design, and hospitality. I enjoy creating spaces for people which inspire that same passion and make them think differently about utilizing space in creative ways. Throughout my life I have always treated my own personal living spaces as offices, studios, lounges, chef grade kitchens and spa retreats so I hope to continue being able to curate spaces that express this same idea for my guests.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I was born in Indiana and spent many summers and winters in and around the Indianapolis area as a kid. I remember all of the filed trips to the museums and going to church with my family and I hope to bring that same feeling of nostalgia and home to people new and local to Indy.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The William H. Block building is a marvel in and of itself. The early 1900s art deco features that still echo throughout the building give it so much character and personality. You can see and feel the rich history the moment you walk into the building.

317 is a great fresh feeling space with a beautiful view of one of the main streets in downtown Indianapolis. The space has been intentionally curated to inspire thought, invite relaxation and embellish on the already laid back vibe Indianapolis exudes.
