Set in La Cala de Mijas at the Costa del Sol in the Andalucia region, this modern corner semi-penthouse apartment features a breathtaking panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea, Calanova Golf course, swimming pool & GYM SPA area, and the mountains from the ample 90m2 sun-drenched wrap-around sun terrace.
The apartment, finished in 2018, features a modern elevator that connects from the garage level to the front door, free unlimited Fibre Optic WiFi, Smart Flat TV, and private garage parking.
The space:
This air-conditioned modern luxury La Cala de Mijas holiday rental corner apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open-plan modern kitchen, a lovely spacious living room and a large 90m2 sun-drenched wrap-around terrace, accessible from the lounge and both bedrooms, affording breath-taking panoramic views of the entire coastline and Mediterranean Sea.
The spacious bright open lounge offers a dining area along with a comfortable sitting relax sofa area with large screen TV, and fast Fibre Optic WiFi internet access. The accommodation is well equipped with a modern open-plan integrated kitchen with Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, oven, microwave and washing machine. There are also 2 double bedrooms, the first which is the master en-suite with large king size double bed and private bathroom with bath & shower, plus the second bedroom with 2 individual single beds with access to the second bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has access to it's own private small sun terrace.
All guests can relax in the wonderful secure & manicured private community garden, inside the chill-out relax area and with the 3 beautiful pool areas at the property. Sports enthusiasts can exercise in the well appointed TechnoGym gymnasium (from 18 years of age). After training, guests can also have access to the SPA area, featuring a new sauna and jacuzzi (also only for adults). Additionally there is a Petanque sand pit if you fancy a game with other guests (ball set available from the security concierge).
Guests will also find an 18-hole golf course within 2 minutes drive and a daily open attractive clubhouse restaurant for everyone offering delicious food and a great choice of refreshments. BBQ night usually every Friday night during the summer months with live entertainment. They also serve a full buffet breakfast from 8.30-11am everyday.
Diverse activities are possible in the local area including tennis and padel tennis at the Club del Sol Tennis Club, walking on the coastal boardwalk, horse riding, water sports, climbing, having fun at the Water Park and much more.
Guest access:
Guests will have access of the entire apartment and selection of 3 swimming pools, plus adults will have complimentary access to the SPA & gym area (consisting of a sauna & jacuzzi, plus fully equipped TechnoGym gymnasium and showers), access to the local sauna, and also the chill-out sun decking sunbathing & jacuzzi area.
There is a new sand pit area that has been designed to play Pétanque/Boules. The Calanova Golf clubhouse and restaurant for golfers and guests is easily accessible, serving food and refreshments all day, and offering great golf too. BBQ night usually every Friday night during the summer months with live entertainment.
Other things to note:
Please note that this apartment is in a fantastic privileged location, although it is a good downhill 45 minute walk, in order to reach the local amenities. Of course it only takes less than 5 minutes by rental car, or taxi, to La Cala de Mijas.
Please note that we allow late arrivals after 8pm during the week, and also weekend arrivals for a small surcharge. We charge a standard meet and greet fee of 25.00⏠at the handing of the keys for all arrivals between 8pm & 11pm and during the weekend. Arrivals between 8pm & 11pm during the weekend will be charged 40.00âŹ, paid locally on arrival. For night arrivals between 11pm & 3am, please consult us first.
The centre of MĂĄlaga is 45 km from the apartment. The nearest airport is MĂĄlaga International Airport, 38 km from the property.
Great views of the Calanova golf course for golfers and only a short distance from the Calanova Golf clubhouse offering refreshments and snacks, plus BBQ's every Friday with live entertainment during the summer months.
Strictly NO smoking and NO pets allowed. Beware of starting a careless fire! Prevention is better than cure.
The owner recommends that you take out adequate travel insurance before travelling. In case of accident occurring whilst at this holiday home is the responsibility of the holiday guest, not the owner or managing agent.
This property is disabled friendly. There is a lift in the apartment building along with ramps in the communal areas providing wheelchair access. The pool and gardens are also adapted for disabled and wheelchair access. This apartment is accessed from the ground level. Please note that this apartment isnât adapted for wheelchairs, and you canât access the bathrooms via wheelchair.
Once your booking has been confirmed / payment received (or at least in good time before your arrival) we will contact you to make arrangements to meet you at the property, or in the local town, La Cala de Mijas. You will be shown around the apartment with everything explained clearly by our local property managers (who speaks fluent English and Spanish!) and your questions about the local area / facilities can be answered. We want you to enjoy your holiday!
The property managers will be on hand to answer any questions or in case of any emergency or enquiry. Unlimited FREE Fibre Optic WiFi and multi-language TV is included in the rental price.

I'm Monica and I have several luxury modern apartments available for rent in the La Cala de Mijas & Calanova Golf areas. We wish for everybody who stays with us the most enjoyable and rewarding holiday, whether just to relax on the terrace or at the pool/beach, or for more action including golf and visiting the many treasures that the Costa del Sol has to offer. This property is located 4kms up the hill from La Cala de Mijas, to offer guests the best panoramic tranquil views of the Mediterranean Sea, Calanova Golf course, and the surrounding country including the Mijas mountain range. The private community has security concierge, and 24 hours recorded CCTV for safety in all communal areas, including the garages and portals. Guests will have access of the entire apartment, plus free access to a selection of 3 large swimming pools, whilst adults can also access all the community facilities including the SPA area with jacuzzi and sauna plus showers, an additional outdoor jacuzzi and adults sun bathing chill-out area, an additional sauna, a fully equipped TechnoGym gymnasium, and a Petanque ball sand pit. Children only have access to the swimming pools and must be supervised at all times as there is no lifeguard. The SPA, gym, sauna's, jacuzzi'a and chill-out areas are all for adults only, 18+ years of age. La Cala de Mijas village is easily accessible, offering a diverse selection of restaurants, bars, banks, supermarkets, car rental, beach chiringuitos, beach wooden boardwalk to Cabopino, golf course etc. La Cala offers everything you need to enjoy your holiday to the maximum, and offers easy transport links to MĂĄlaga, Fuengirola, Mijas, BenalmĂĄdena Pueblo, Marbella, Estepona & Gibraltar. La Cala is situated in the centre of the golf valley, with many golf courses accessible within a 10 minutes drive.
