Beautiful home with top-of-the-line kitchen appliances. Beds were very comfortable, great screened in porch. Beautiful setting and very close to park and trails. Very responsive and it’s super helpful hosts that were committed to making sure you had a great stay.

This is one of the most exceptionally appointed and beautiful homes we have had the pleasure to stay in. Our hosts, Mark and Michelle, were always responsive, thoughtful and prompt in all our communications. Spectacular views of Old Rag Mountain. Plenty of space for the dogs to frolic. Location was key to local attractions e.g., wineries, hiking trails, etc. We'll be back!

If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful cabin getaway to unwind and connect with nature-look no further! My family and I stayed here for a long weekend about 2 weeks back and had a truly fantastic time. The large windows throughout the kitchen and living room bring in lots of great natural light. The three separate deck spaces let us enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. Also thoroughly enjoyed the soaking tub after going hiking as well as the firepit with wood provided. Can't wait to come back in the future!

What a wonderful property. Think grand hotel and gourmet kitchen with Old Rag Mountain framed off the back porch. Very comfortable rooms. Great location for attractions in Madison and Rappahannock Counties including award winning wineries. Autumn trip with fall colors and cooler temperatures would be a delight. Mark is a wonderful host.

Amazing home that was clearly built with care and an eye for entertaining. The property was also beautiful and felt very secluded while only being a few miles out of town. Would absolutely recommend to friends or anyone looking to climb Old Rag, which is visible from the back porch.

We had a lovely Holiday retreat with family. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots to cook, and the grill outside was easy to use. Beds were very comfy and lots of blankets. Bathrooms were very nice too.

Amazing location and awesome home.

The property was stunning surrounded by hills and forest. Location in respect if wineries worked out perfect and the home itself was luxurious and new and full of great amenities. Will stay again and recommend to everyone who goes to the area.

Beautiful property, loved the view of the mountains! The interior was well laid out, with a super well equipped kitchen. The den/sitting area was comfortable and inviting. We had wonderful weather and really really enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch and watching the turkeys and deer go thru the fields. Everything was spotless! Good instructions from the host made it easy to find, even though it truly feels remote.

The views are stunning, the house is brand new and entirely private. We loved walking the property and enjoying the porch. 20 min to Sperryville restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great home and vey private!

We had a terrific stay at this well appointed, beautiful home. We were in the area for hiking and it was a good location for access to Shenandoah park. We loved the seclusion and peacefulness. The stars at night were wonderful. It’s a lovely home and super comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Mountain getaway

We loved our stay. The home was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. It was very well stocked with everything you could need. The views of Old Rag Mountain were amazing. Our favorite room was the screened in porch. It was so peaceful and a perfect place for morning coffee. The location was perfect for hiking and wineries. The whole family enjoyed playing the Monopoly and Jenga after hiking White Oak Canyon. Perfect weekend!
