Thank you for your interest in staying here. We are taking every precaution possible to ensure the safety of our staff and guests by using CDC approved sanitizers exclusively and we are disinfecting all door handles, switches, remotes, cabinets, appliances etc. Your room is self check-in with (key code) entrance, full bathroom, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishes, utensils, etc. Note: We are on the property in case you need anything.

Secluded setting with numerous ponds, canoe, a floating dock, nature trails, picnic area with a fire pit, shelter & grill (hickory wood provided), stone & cedar gazebo, wood fired lunar sauna, cool dip pool, frisbee golf course, establishing a organic vegetable farm. *We use an Energy Star ‘HE’ Washing Machine and Dryer. We prefer to use clotheslines on sunny day & when we can work around our visiting guests.

*All hand soap, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner provided are made of bio-degradable ingredients, paraben free, SLS free, no animal ingredients or testing & no artificial fragrances.

*We provide eco dishwashing liquid, which contains no petrol chemicals and is 100% biodegradable. We use Green Works toilet cleaner & Seventh Generation Dishwasher Gel.

Due to allergy reasons we do not allow pets in any of our rooms or common/shared areas. No exceptions please. Hosts & other long term residents live on premises. Units are not independent cabins.

We recommend you take the time to explore some of our many local attractions like Skyline Drive, check website hikingupward for hiking suggestions, Luray caverns,"Noon Whistle Pottery", "Fabio's Italian eatery", "Mission Home Bake Shop" & numerous antique galleries in Ruckersville, just to name a few. Close proximity to 30 vineyards along the Monticello Wine Trail. 6 President homes including Monticello, Montpelier & Ashlawn. Guest have access to common areas like lunar sauna, ponds on the map, picnic area with fire pit, stone gazebo, nature walk, lounges, meditation room & massage room.

Guests are to observe all posted signage. Do not enter areas signed "Private”. Do not explore areas not listed in the pictures as there are other guests and residents on the property.

Please be aware that some of the common areas are off limit at times due to events the may be being held on site.

We would like to meet our guests during their stay and request that you give us a call after you are checked into your room from the land line provided in the common kitchen in the green barn.

Secluded setting for a relaxed experience surrounded by woods, birds, bunnies & nature/rural sounds.

We recommend arriving here in a car as there is no convenient public transit/transportation to get to nearby attractions or to airports, train stations & bus stations.

Kindly note there is no good cell reception here and we recommend that you read up on all directions, check in information before arrival or print if necessary. You may not be able to access information on your cell phone on the grounds/parking on arrival.
Once in room wifi is available:) & also a landline provided for calling out.
Strictly no smoking or pets in any rooms, decks, common/shared areas, inside the barn, or around the premises of the Mulberry Organic Farm.
Smoking permitted on the roads and driveway on the grounds.

______________Communal areas & rooms__________
We welcome guests to explore communal spaces/rooms on grounds. Please make sure to turn off all lights & shut doors behind you everywhere you go to help support the green practices at our retreat.


Picnic area with fire-pit are available to use. Wood is provided for the fire pit. Please remove all trash and leave it clean after use.

-------------------------------4 Season Lunar Sauna.---------------------------
Seats 6 people & is located next to a pond. Wood is provided in the sauna with instructions to start the wood stove (If you need help please let us know much in advance). Please note 'NO ALCOHOL IN THE SAUNA'. This sauna generally heats up in 15-20 minutes.

Use the canoe & floating dock only if you know how to swim, no life preservers are provided. Kindly return the canoe as you find it with paddles inside it for other guests.

Shared kitchen is provided with all basic amenities & modern appliances, please leave it clean after every use for other guests.

You are welcome to hang out in the Gazebo, but no loud partying here please.

Friendly dogs & chickens from our neighbors homes roam the grounds and we request NOT to feed any outside animals.

Kindly do not operate any power tools or equipment in the barn without permission.
