A bit smaller than I was expecting but great communication and the location is perfect for a classic NOLA trip. Walking distance to everything in the French Quarter but because of that it's louder at night on the weekends and can be tough to find parking if you have a car. (earplugs provided by host). Id stay here again in a heart beat if I want a cozy intimate trip with my significant other.

Location was top-notch and room was nice. Lots of street noise, so on the second night we had a whitenoise app running just inside the door, which was an improvement.

Great location

This location is fantastic with lots is restaurants, coffee shops and bars in walking distance. The space was very clean and hosts were responsive to all needs.

Autumn stay

Wonderfully located off Frenchmen st. in the heart of the French Quarter, we were surprised at how close off the street our bed/room was! Lovely, small and charming, comfortable and quaint, it suited or small 4 day stay very nicely.

Amazing!

Such a beautiful area and great place to stay! The only issue was having to move our car during day to avoid getting booted or towed. Overall, definitely would stay here again!!!

Very comfortable. Perfect location!

Hosts were very accommodating with great communication. The room has everything we needed and the check-in/check out was easy. If you are interested in taking in the music scene on Frenchman St. you really couldn’t get much closer. We will certainly be back.

Perfect location for Music lovers

We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be perfect for us. We love music and being right around the corner from Frenchman Street worked great. We also rented a couple bikes from the shop on Frenchman. We rode all around to the different parks, and the museum. We had so much fun!

Great for Frenchman Street!

You can't beat this location! Just a few doors down from Frenchman street, you can hear the music all night - yes that includes after you want to go to sleep - so make sure to pack your earplugs. The space was cute and nicely maintained. Little touches all around that make you feel like you are staying in a "home" not just four walls.

I got the "royal" treatment at the Maison Royal. It's conveniently around the corner from my favorite jazz clubs on Frenchmen: Snug Harbor, where I had tickets to a terrific sold-out show, and the more casual Bamboula's. The room is tastefully furnished and has two comfortable chairs, allowing me to host a friend who dropped by and admired the digs. It was my fifth time in NOLA, and the 2nd time I visited during a cold spell, so I was thankful that the room provided heating as well as A/C. Wallace was an attentive host who responded to a question I had within minutes. All in all, an excellent place.
