We have been going to Rocky Point for years and staying at this property for years too.
This stay was THE WORST. First, CasaGo, the management company NEVER indicated during our booking or at any time before we arrived that there was NO maid service. Not a huge deal as long as someone is available who can get you trash bags, towels, TP, etc.
So, no big deal, no maids. Get to our room, only one key works. The second key was intermittent all weekend. Had to stop at desk several times to have it reset. Getting back to condo after front desk closes at11pm, after a few drinks and your key doesn’t work....SUCKS. They didn’t care. Said they could send maintenance, never did.
Okay, so no maids, bad key, but the unit! Ugh! Think twice about staying on fourth floor, electricity was intermittent...so the elevators were intermittent too! Even when electricity WAS on, the dishwasher didn’t work...AND...neither did the sink plug. No decent way to do dishes. Filthy used sponges, and The day we left, no hot water! No decent water pressure, decor was original. Crappy sofa that was painfully uncomfortable, I picked up a pillow and a pound of sand poured out of it. Toilet needed plunging on every flush. Cracks in walls/ceilings, water spots molding in ceiling, sneezed the whole time. Small patio. The whole property was run down despite some cosmetic upgrades to public toilet areas. Swim up bar was pointless since pool water was freezing.
We expressed our concerns to front desk, they said they would look into a credit for us, but forgot all about it, no one remembered at checkout. We were so ready to get out, we were actually thinking of leaving early, and by this time we just said “adjust our bill”and left. They never did adjust our bill.
We also heard others who had terrible units at Princesa, lot of talk about how run down the units were. We will not stay at Princesa again. NEVER AGAIN!
