Waterfront property and having private dock to allow boat docking was super nice. The cabin itself was great to accommodate the group of people we had. Over all great experience!

As always it was another great week! Already booked visit 6 for next year. The house is roomy and easily accommodates a large multi family group, The boat launch and dock make fishing simple, and the restaurants and grocery store make many meal options available. Sunset views from the house are gorgeous.

6 ice fishing buddies here for the weekend. The place was perfect for our needs. Clean and basic. Easy access to the lake. Would stay again.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. Beautiful scenery overlooking the lake, Clean. Spacious kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Could use a few more lamps by couch and beds for reading at night. Overall, loved our time here and will reserve again.

Big stone lake ice fishing

This was a super clean modern place to stay. The bedrooms are big and the convince to the lake and supper club was super handy for us. We will definitely stay here again!

Friends Getaway Trip

My friends and I enjoyed our stay very much at this location. Right off the dock you can catch perch, sunnies, bass, and white bass. Love the layout of the living room to the kitchen. Was very spacious and cozy. Will definitely comeback again.

We had a great time hear. Plenty of space and right on the water. Plenty of space for a family/ group with everything you need. The owners were helpful and responded quickly. I would recommend staying here.

Another great stay in Ortonville!

Love the space! Its a great layout for multiple families staying together. Comfortable, clean, spacious and functional, and not worrisome with young kids. This is our third stay and we're booked again for next year.

Labor Day get away.

This property is located close to the golf course, which we played and enjoyed. We were able to launch our pontoon right next to our VRBO property which is very nice. Home was very clean, plenty of room. Right next door to great place to eat if you wanted. Would stay again. Thank you.

Cold back bedroom

Pros: Spacious kitchen and living room, clean bathrooms, clean floors, comfortable beds, beautiful view of the lake.Cons: Cupboards disorganized with open bags of chips. Quite obvious cupboards not opened or wiped out after previous renter. The back bedroom was very cold while the front two bedrooms very warm. We needed to open doors during the night to let in heat or let out heat. The window of the back bedroom was very drafty. The living room couches were not comfortable, no support left in the cushions.

Comfortable house with plenty of room for adults and kids

House was very clean and comfortable, kitchen is large which was nice, house layout was great, and view of the lake is beautiful. Boat launch right there is great. Multiple docks to use was nice as primary dock for the rental needs some work. Beds were comfortable and having three bathrooms was great. Check in information wasn’t sent ahead of time, and week prior questions never got answered, which made check in a little confusing. Communication during the stay was good and owner was helpful and very nice. Kitchen is fairly well stocked but pots and pans need some replacing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and booked again for next year. Would recommend it to others if you want a comfortable, roomy, and relaxing vacation at the lake!

Great Location, just lacking a few necessary ammenities

This property is in a great location, and has plenty of room; however it was lacking some necessary essentials that most places provide. We didn't see any washcloths, bath soap, shampoo, blow dryers, and toilet paper. The stove in the kitchen had only 1 of the 4 burners that worked, and the pots & pans were dirty. We also thought the price was high for this place.

Family grew up in this area, we have lived here for 26 years. This is a quiet area right on the lake. It's very peaceful here. We are located about 2 miles from the center of Ortonville.

It is a 2 minute drive to a beautiful 18 hole golf course. Right on the shores of Big Stone Lake, you can enjoy your morning coffee outdoors on the deck and watch the ducks swim by. Supperclub close by, reservations can be made in advance, as we own the supperclub. Dock provided for your boat, private lake access.
