This is a beautiful home were you can look out any window and have a lovely view. It is located on a paved road with plenty of parking in front, or in the back where there is a walkout basement. This lovely home was rescued from demolition and moved from its old location to its new location. It was placed on a new foundation, combining old comfort with new conveniences. The home has new flooring, all new paint throughout, and spacious bedrooms, 3 upstairs, 1 lower level. The large newer kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils you would need if you like to eat in, and offers a second table in the attached sunroom.
We are just minutes from Columbus Junction for shopping, restaurants, parks and our famous 100 year old Swinging Bridge, also known as Lovers Leap. Also available 1 mile away is a pond at the owners residence for fishing year round. Louisa County offers large tracts of land for public hunting of wildlife and the popular morel mushrooms. Enjoy a quiet walk on the paths through the prairie or play games, billiards, ping pong or darts in the spacious game room . Enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch or back deck for a view of the sunrise. In the evening grill out on the back deck or sit on the front porch for a view of the sunset!

PERFECT host and house

We loved the new renovation, large space, extra tables, comfortable beds, large kitchen, the town's parks and walking trails were perfect. The beautiful view out the windows gave us deer, rabbits, and birds to watched. It was wonderfully quiet to offer the rest we were looking for. The hosts offered very fast communication, were very kind and offered to help find things for us in town. Angie thought of lots of details like labeling the kitchen cabinets (so you can find supplies easily) and labeling the light switches. We would really love to visit again because we enjoyed these hosts and this house so much.

Delightful renovated farmhouse

We were wowed by our first impression - the front wrap-around porch is gorgeous. The house is well-appointed and thoughtfully decorated. The front room is very welcoming and we convened there for our morning gatherings and evening chats. Everyone found their bed comfortable and each slept fabulously. Lots of space in the basement family room with a wide selection of board games as well as fuseball. The eat-in kitchen accommodated our group of seven comfortably. There is a breakfast nook attached to seat even more. This is not to mention the dining room. Greg and Angie were so kind and welcoming, we had no trouble considering Indigo View our home away from home. Thanks!!
