With easy access to Interstate 25 and a perfectly manicured lot, this home was perfectly relaxing for the busy days my stay required. We were less than 20 minutes from all the most interesting things to see. The home had everything we needed - comfy beds, a relaxing living area and outdoor ares for downtime and a functional kitchen. Kudos to the owner, who kept us informed of a minor service outage, even though it did not impact our stay. I highly recommend it here!

Comfy and cozy

It was awesome stay. Lori answered all our questions and concerns. The property is next to everything you want to do in Colorado Springs but also close to all major stores and restaurants.

Perfect stay for us

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Lori's property. The house was very comfortable and was a perfect place for us and our two pets. The backyard was fenced and perfect to allow us to allow the pets to exercise. The neighborhood was very nice and we felt very safe. There were deer walking around across the street. We will attempt to stay at this property the next time we are back in Colorado Springs

You & your pup will love your stay

We so enjoyed our stay this week-a comfortable, pet friendly, home-lovely fenced grassy yard for our dog to enjoy, while the home was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. So great to sit outdoors in the mornings with our coffee, or have dinner enjoying the cool of the evenings.Lori, the owner, was easy to work with, very helpful, we hope to return often!

Great Colorado Springs House

Excellent location in town, and the landscaping and fences make it feel very private. Comfortable beds and furniture. House is very well equipped with kitchen and laundry room supplies. Owner replied quickly to any questions I had. A very enjoyable stay!

Escape to Colorado Springs

The four of us stayed very comfortably in this well appointed home for the week. We were close to everything we wanted to experience and came back each evening to a very relaxing home away from home. Breakfast outside in the mornings was so peaceful and at times we were visited by the local wildlife, deer in fact across the street. We would definitely stay here again away from the crowds but so close to it all.

Such a beautiful home

Lori was great about communicating with us. The house was comfortable and loved all the seating arrangements outside. We had 3 baby deers and the mother one morning at the house, very special to see. Hope to return to CO one day and stay there again. Recommending this place to everyone that may travel.

Accommodating abode

Both check in and check out were very smooth. The property is gorgeous, and we enjoyed our morning beverages outside. The single bathroom took a little getting used to, but the four of us made it work. There is no "silent walking" within the home as the pier-and-beam foundation affords many squeaks and creaks. The heavy traffic on Cascade Ave annoyed slightly, but you must remember that you are in a city of more than 400,000 people. A mule deer, as seen in the property pictures, even stopped by for a visit in the front yard our final morning. If you can't be happy at this place, then you likely won't be happy anywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

Stale smell, not clean, comfortable bed

Immediately upon entering the house, my husband and I were both struck by the stale or musty smell. Then we found sweet tarts in various locations including under the couch. The air conditioner was apparently off before we arrived and the fan level of the AC couldn’t be adjusted. Thankfully and wonderfully Lori, the host, came to set us up with fans. Lori also recommended a good hiking spot and communicated well before and during our stay. She was great. However, the layer of dust on top of surfaces like the ceiling fan, a few chunks of whatever-it-was on the kitchen floor, and cobwebs in the lamp shades made the place feel dirty. Also, though the shower and sink were clean, it appeared that someone painted over mold in the bathroom and there was more starting to grow on the ceiling. The bathroom fan was so covered in thick dust so it barely worked. Worst of all was finding a pack of camel cigarettes in the drawer in the kitchen along with the lighters. I hope they were overlooked from a previous renter and not considered an amenity. The cigarettes may account for the smell. I actually wanted to go home the first day and not spend the night, but my husband convinced me to stay and I am glad we did. We bought some Glade candles and lit them on the second day and that made the experience much better. We also put the beach towels supplied by the host on the couch and that made it feel cleaner to me. Another bright spot was that our hiking clothes got pretty filthy on our first hike so we used the laundry supplies, washer and dryer and they worked well and the machines were clean.

This home was inviting from the moment we entered. The home was stocked with everything needed and more. Great location to restaurants & groceries. 3 outside sitting areas in a private yard. We found it very relaxing. The owner was excellent at communication. We highly recommend this home. We will rent again when we return. Thank you, Lori!

House is cozy
 very nicely decorated. Only complaint was it is on a corner with one street being a main thoroughfare, and was noisy at times. Location in Colorado Springs is an old neighborhood - we really enjoyed walking and viewing the gardens. Safeway real close. The beds are high so getting on them was an adventure until we got the hang of it!

Short get away

Great location.

Lori was a perfect host and met our every need! You couldn't ask for a better host! The location was close to all the activities we were there to visit. Our Great Grandchildren was comfortable playing in the yard and watching childrens programs on the TV. We brought their mother to the Springs 21 years ago when she was her daughters age! We loved our trip!!! Thank you Lori!!!

Stay in Colorado springs

Took an anniversary trip with my husband to Colorado Springs and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house was clean, well organized, and had all necessary amenities. It was 10 minutes from Manitou Springs, pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. Only thing we would’ve preferred was a more remote street as there was some traffic. Lori was a great host, answered all our questions and was accommodating. Would stay again!

Cozy cottage getaway

Cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath house had everything we needed for a week in Colorado Springs. Located with easy access to highway, the house was private, quiet, and fantastically cool during the most recent heatwave. Beds were super comfy and the desk in the master provided plenty of room for work. Enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings. Very close to restaurants and south end of Colo Springs activities. Host was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Plan to stay here again if we visit for an extended period of time.

I wanted to be centrally located close to all the amenities: shopping, restaurants, recreational activities and cultural events in an established neighborhood. Since I enjoyed living here so much that when I when I relocated I thought it would make a great place for visitors to the Springs and put it on VRBO. I look forward to providing you an enjoyable and memorable experience!
