Beautiful and very clean home in a nice area. This did not feel like a basement at all, and it is equipped with everything one may need, from kitchen utensils to even board games for the family. Great communication as well. One thing I would add is that the owners have several large dogs (who were securely put up) but something to be aware of if they make you nervous.

Very cozy spot in Huntingburg. A little skeptical about saying in someone’s residence but it was very quiet and private. Very friendly owner.

This is the first time using VRBO. Our host family was very accommodating. They had a fire pit available, since they knew we were part of scouts. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us to have our own bed for sleeping. They provided all the bathroom supplies. The kitchen had all the amenities of home. This property is located in the Eastern time zone in Dubois County. We spent much of our time about 5 miles south in Spencer County. We've visited Santa Claus IN.I would definitely recommend staying at this property. The cost was very affordable. We had two families spend a 3 night weekend. We had the opportunity to meet our hosts. They are the nicest people.

Our host, Vicki was wonderful! She answered questions quickly and offered suggestions on local restaurants. Everything was just perfect for hosting a Christmas gathering! The home was decorated beautifully, the kitchen was well equipped, and we had plenty of seating room for everyone.Believe this is the place to host our annual Christmas gathering!

Friendly hosts, pet friendly location, it has everything

We came to visit my wife’s mother in assisted living. We really did not get a chance to advantage of everything available to us. It was clean, stocked with things for all kinds of people, and room to relax.

Exactly what we needed!

It's often hard to find a dog friendly place to stay. My service dog in training Jack and I spent two nights there. We loved it! It is clean, well furnished, and has a great cozy seating spot by the living room TV that was perfect for my needs. While it was just the two of us, there is plenty of space for a large family. We didn't use the kitchen much, but had I known how nice it would be, I'd have brought more food. It appears I will soon have more things to do in Huntingburg. I will book this place again, for sure!

Vicki & Philip were “great” host! Too often when you rent a place like this you never see or meet the owners. Like I said, they were fantastic and actually added to pleasure of our over all stay. The place was perfect for the 6 of us. The only negative was not being able to get regular TV to watch the College World Series baseball games and the US Open Golf Tournament. But this could have been the lack of our knowledge of the tv system. But that would not stop us from going back.
