Perfect Ski Weekend Stay

The cabin was charming, the kitchen was stocked with tools for cooking, and the wood fired hot tub was magical. It's a perfect place for families or a couple who are looking for a Catskills getaway or are skiing in the area. Would definitely come back.

Ski trip at Windham

We had a great time and had no issues. 6 of us stayed in the house and it was the perfect size and a very nice layout. If your planning on skiing at Windham it is a very easy drive to the mountain. 100% would stay there again! The host had amazing communication and was very helpful!

Our stay this past August at this charming, beautiful home surrounded by trees, forest, creek, and open skies was fantastic. Our king size bed was very comfortable, and having two bathrooms very convenient. Our friends who visited for one night during our stay reported the queen-size bed in the guest bedroom to be quite comfy as well. Everything when we arrived was clean, and the place is conveniently furnished with cooking and baking utensils, electric stove, large size refrigerator, a Koerig coffee maker with coffee pods, coffee maker, coffee grinder, high-tech washer and dryer, and other supplies. There is a screen you can pull down to watch TV using a Nebula projector with Roku attachment. Outside you fill find a beautiful deck with table and chairs, a charcoal barbecue, a fire pit and our favorite - a wood burning hot tub which we used 4 times in our 12 day visit. It takes a bit of work to get the hot tub fire going but you get the hang of it and it is well worth it under the stars. We ate every day outside on the deck in the fresh summer air & the chirping of cicadas. Hosts Crystal & Sean were absolutely lovely and quick to respond when we had questions. The house is near to Prattsville, Windham and - especially good for winter vacationers - Hunter mountain. It is about 45 to 60 minutes to the towns of Hudson (and the Amtrak station), Phoenicia, Woodstock and Kingston. All in all, we had a great, peaceful time and I would recommend this house to anyone.

We’re a family based in New York who loves spending time outdoors — hiking, camping, and gathering around a fire. Our dream was to create a peaceful Catskills retreat where people could slow down, reconnect, and enjoy nature as much as we do.

Hosting allows us to share that experience with others — whether it’s families making memories, couples looking for a romantic escape, or friends gathering for adventure. We’ve added thoughtful touches throughout the cabin (from cozy blankets to our favorite board games) so it feels like a true home away from home.

We’re always happy to share local recommendations and help you make the most of your stay. It’s important to us that you feel welcomed, cared for, and inspired by your time here.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We fell in love with the Catskills for its perfect balance of peaceful mountain seclusion and vibrant small-town life. From our cabin, you can hike forested trails, discover hidden swimming holes, or simply relax and stargaze in the crisp mountain air.

When you’re ready to explore, nearby towns offer farm-to-table dining, cozy cafés, local breweries, and charming shops that showcase the best of Catskills culture. In the winter, Windham and Hunter Mountains are just a short drive away for skiing and snowboarding, while summer brings festivals, farmers markets, and endless outdoor adventures.

For us, this area is about slowing down, reconnecting, and creating memories — and we’re excited to share that experience with you.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Inside, soaring ceilings, expansive windows, and a crackling wood-burning stove create a warm and inviting space for families, couples, and friends.

With 2 bedrooms + 2 sleeper sofas (sleeps up to 8), 1.5 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, and a projector with Roku for movie nights, our cabin makes it easy to blend relaxation, connection, and adventure. Add in the convenience of an onsite washer & dryer, and you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay — whether it’s a weekend getaway or a longer family retreat.
