John, our host was great. Very responsive and accommodating. The house was perfect for our family. Very clean and the hot tub was most enjoyable on the very cold nights.

This vacation home was spacious for our family of 5. The in-ground pool was awesome and kept the adults and our 8 yo grandson entertained for hours. The adults also really enjoyed the hot tub. The covered deck overlooking the large backyard was wonderful, and we got to see birds, fireflies, and even a fox that trotted by one night! John the owner was quickly responsive to all my questions. Extra bed pillows and bath towels were found in the 2nd bathroom closet, and the pool towels were appreciated. Our only suggestion is to provide better quality toilet paper (LOL). We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely home.

House was in a beautiful location, clean & comfortable. The kitchen was amazing & there and was plenty of tools & pans to cook. Entertainment room was fun, but we really enjoyed the fire pit on our chilly October stay.

Relaxing getaway

All went well at our vacation at this property,the covered deck with fans and lights was a great place to hang out with the pool just a couple of steps away and the hot tub about 15 more steps away.we occasionally ran out of hot water in the showers,but not a deal breaker

Upon arrival, stale cooking odor throughout main level which lasted for 4 days. Kitchen cabinets, microwave & toaster had food smears. Linens were mediocre while coverlets on beds appeared not freshly washed. There was an inadequate supply of towels. The bathrooms had dust & hair in the corners as well as hair on bathmats. I spent several hours cleaning bed linens & surfaces. . The pool was clean & well tended to. The property is conveniently located to I-91. The home is located near a high traffic road which has many construction & service vehicles driving past early morning through early evening hours. The host is very responsive & easy to contact. May I suggest the host hire a new cleaning company as the current one is doing an inadequate job.

Great Stay

House and grounds were nice. Host was responsive and accommodating. Pool was great. Location was within 10-15 minutes of everything we needed. Property is near a rock quarry so on weekend days there was a steady stream of loud dump trucks going up and down the road. Not a huge deal but worth mentioning.

The host stood out the most.He was very accommodating decorated for christmas for us.And when we got snowed in, he personally called to make sure that we had everything we needed to get out of the snow. The house is warm and cozy. Has everything that you would need. Great cooking supplies.Nice to have entertainment with the pool table. If you are looking for modern, this is not the place. This place is more like going to grandma's house or aunt's house for Christmas. But again, very comfortable,and spacious.

Overall this was a very enjoyable place to stay.Check-in and check-out was easy.The host was responsive during our stay.Overall cleanliness was good.The only item that needed to be addressed was a limited supply of hot water, which I made the host aware and he said he'd care for it and I believe him. There was a small issue with swimming pool which the host had someone on site within an hour and fixed it. The pool, the kitchen, bathrooms, living space, etc. was all very good. Would recommend.

This was a jewel of a find for us. From check- in to check out it was flawless. John was easy to reach and quick to respond. Everything was super clean when we arrived, the towels were fresh and plush, from bathroom towels to pool towels. The bed linens were high quality. The air conditioning was functioning properly making the stay comfortable on a hot weekend. The kitchen was well equipped and arranged for easy access. The downstairs game room was a huge surprise, equipped with quality exercise machines, full bath and access to working hot tub and pool. when staying in southern Connecticut I would highly recommend staying here.
