It really is a charming historic farmhouse with beautiful views. And plenty of room for the 6 of us. We would definitely go back. Communication with the owner was great.

Beautiful antique home in a tranquil country setting. Away from it all but close enough to cultural activities and marketing, etc. Host was quick to respond to any questions and we think sharing this lovely property is quite generous.

So lovely. The property is beautiful. The quintessential July 4th northeastern experience! Rustic but comfortable. Well equipped and great communication. Hope we are back next year!

A true gem, we had a fantastic time unplugging from all the noise and relaxing at this unique and beautiful home. Colin was communicative, helpful, understanding, and gave great recommendations. Absolutely would stay again, highly highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the farmhouse. The house itself has a ton of character, lots of history to it but at the same time very comfortable, quiet and neat. The host Colin was very easy to communicate with from start to finish and responsive throughout as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely weekend in this beautiful home. There were so many cozy reading nooks and fireplaces. The view from every window is beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable Great location for hikes and exploring the little towns nearby. Absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. And I’m longing for a cast iron stove like that for my home.

We had a great time! We loved the multiple gathering spaces, all with fireplaces, including the comfortable kitchen seating area, amazing dinning room, and spacious living room and outdoor spaces as well. Colin was a great host and responded immediately when there was a mix-up about arrival and entry. The area is amazing and we loved the history of the home and area.

What a wonderful property - an historic gem, with most parts dating back over two centuries, yet well suited to 21st century guests. The character and comfort of the house greatly enhanced our Berkshire getaway, and the rural setting was deeply relaxing. This is a real home full of New England charm and warmth.

Wonderful Stay

It was a great stay! I booked for a group of guests who were attending a wedding at the Freeman mansion down the road, and it could not have been more perfect. The feedback they gave was that the place was clean and comfortable, and had a fascinating old-timey layout (i.e. the rooms kept going and going!) Highly recommend the place.

Host was extremely accommodating and house was as-advertised. Great spot to explore great Barrington and surrounding towns! Wood burning stove and fireplaces are a real highlight! Fire pit is not advertised on listing but there is one. Would recommend highly

Wonderful stay in an amazing house

We really enjoyed our stay in this authentic vintage home. It was very roomy and clean and the host went out of his way for us. We flew out from Chicago so really enjoyed the different style of home and land than we are used to and were able to catch up with my son and his 3 friends who are walking the Appalachian trail. Great place for a family or group of friends.

Amazing place

The place was perfect. It was close to everywhere we needed to go. The house was beautiful as well as the surrounding property. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the frogs at night. The interior with all the fireplaces was cozy and wonderful. The host were very responsive and checked in with us. I can’t say enough positive things about our wonderful stay there.

Historic gem

Absolutely love this sweet home! There was plenty of room for all eight of us. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for a quick weekend away. We had tickets to Tanglewood and wished we had planned on a few more days to enjoy the house and surrounding are. The house in on a beautiful piece of land. Colon was very easy to work with- would recommend this stay without hesitation!

We chose this property because of the age (1740s farmhouse) and convenient location in the southern Berkshires only 15 minutes or so from Great Barrington. The house did not disappoint. It is a very charming farmhouse in excellent condition for its age and with modern amenities. As we only had four adults, there was plenty of room to spread out. The property is very private off the main road with beautiful surroundings. We only wish the weather were cooler or we would have enjoyed a wonderful fire in one of the large fireplaces.
