Location and Accessibility
Nestled above 5,000 ft., Heart of Beech offers direct access to the slopes of Beech Mountain Resort. Enjoy the convenience of being steps away from Fred's Mercantile, charming eateries, putt-putt, and local shops. With easy access to the new free town sledding venue, our cabin is perfectly situated for year-round adventures, from winter skiing to summer hiking and biking.

The Home
Our charming 3-bedroom cabin, featuring an additional loft with a twin bed and trundle, provides a cozy yet spacious retreat for families or couples. The open floor plan boasts stunning mountain views, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The cabin has been thoughtfully updated with a newly renovated kitchen, modern flooring, and fresh bedding, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Bedrooms and Accommodations
The cabin comfortably sleeps 8 guests, including children. Each room is designed with comfort in mind, offering a peaceful haven for rest and relaxation. The loft area adds an extra touch of charm and functionality, perfect for kids or extra guests.

Outdoor Amenities
Experience the great outdoors with direct slope access for skiing in the winter and trails for hiking in the summer. The cabin's location offers easy access to all-season activities, ensuring there's always something exciting to do. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and stunning natural beauty right outside your door.

Additional Features
The cabin features Smart TVs for streaming your favorite shows (no cable provided) and a wood-burning stone fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Please note that accommodations are for registered guests only, with a limit of two vehicles. No gatherings are allowed with unregistered guests or vehicles.

Beech Mountain Club Eligibility
Guests at this property can enjoy temporary access to the Beech Mountain Club. During ski season, this includes the Ski Lodge with private parking and a restaurant and bar, while the fitness center is accessible at a separate club location on the mountain. In summer and other seasons, optional access may include the outdoor pool, golf, tennis, and private dining. A one-time fee transfers the owner's membership for the duration of your stay, and applications must be submitted at least one week before check-in. Family Christmas gift

This place was amazing! Loved that you could ski in and out. It was the first time for some of the kids so it was perfect for them. We took full advantage of the fireplace and the convenient location. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of room. The place was stocked well. The only negative was the pans were terrible for cooking. Other than that super cozy, cute place! Thank you!

Perfect location

This property is in the perfect location. It is walking distance to Fred’s and the brick oven pizza place. We loved watching the action on the slopes off the back of the house and you can see the sledding hill in the front. We were there during winter storm Elliot and the house kept power and water. We were more fortunate than so many others. Thanks for sharing your property.

Perfect Beech Ski In Ski Out

We had a fantastic stay at the Heart of Beech! The location is superb, I loved that we could ski right out the back door, walk to Fred’s or the Brick Oven for a snack and even watch the kids sled from the new town sledding hill. The home is clean and cozy. We look forward to coming back!

Fantastic Location!

We love The Grover House! Perfect location. The stairs are more manageable for a younger crowd. But my parents slept downstairs and that was perfect. The teens love the loft. And me and my husband stayed in one of the bedrooms upstairs. We had a great time. Pictures are true to location.

Very Dated and Low Style, poor quality throughout

The style is best described as dated and Low Quality. When you're paying high dollar it's the owner's duty to continue to reinvest in her property so that it stays modern, elegant timeless and perhaps superior. From the appliances, to beds, to sofa to kitchen , to bathroom, to fixtures this house is not invested in...so what you have is poor appearances and it shows.

Great place to enjoy slopes for young family

We had a great time at the Heart of Beech with 5 young kids learning to ski for the first time. Snow was man made and slushy on warmer days in late Febr to early March but it worked. House location was perfect and accomodations were nice. Ski school did not provide an impressive environment for learning, but we worked at it ourselves and all of us went up and down the mntn on the last day. Thanks so much.

Great house perfect location

Perfect slopeside location. Easy ski-in/ ski- out. Flat enough to get your skis on and steep enough to literally ski to the back door. Easy walking distance to great food and shops. The house itself is clean, warm and cozy.

Cute place. The only access to the three upstairs rooms is the spiral staircase so tough for tall people but great place otherwise.

Great ski in ski out

My family and I had a great ski in ski out experience. Once we got our rentals and tickets we were set. The location was very convenient. The kids enjoyed the proximity to the towns sledding hill.

Class Act Rental with great views!

Heart of Beech is super clean. The showers have been remodeled and have great water pressure. The layout of the house provides for a fun and super cozy family vacation. Love the wood burning fireplace! The small loft area upstairs is great for a teen to have some quiet time away from the adults. Our favorite part of the house was the ability to see what’s happening on Beech Mtn. We could see out the front of the house(especially beautiful at night) and enjoy all the action of the town....... and out the back windows you could take in the ski scenery. It’s the WHOLE package at Heart of Beech! You pay a little more than a house higher up the hill.....but Heart of Beech is well worth it to us! This home is a true rental keeper! Another great aspect is that you do not have to climb the steep snow hills in your vehicle if you are there during a snowfall. This home is located for ease of access with your vehicle. Take it from us....annual Beech Mtn visitors.......book Heart of Beech!! Definitely worth the extra cash! Now go book your vacation!!

Can I give more stars please?....

Heart of Beech could possibly be the most perfect location in the mountain. Just about anything you could want is within walking distance or just a very short drive. Coming with kids? Perfect! The sledding hill is literally at the end of driveway or they can play in the snow right out back! This is a true ski in/ski out property, once there has been enough snow you can ski right off the back porch onto the "medows" slope and come back in from the lower shawneehaw lift. Plenty of room for 8. Very clean. Smart tv - with Netflix of course. Nice wood burning fireplace. Absolutely charming place. We just got home and we're debating making reservations for next year right now!
