A Hidden Gem

The rental experience was exceptional. From the initial communication with the property manager, to the seamless check in, to the concierge and the staff on property. The room was recently renovated and has two well appointed master suites. The patio provided direct access to the outdoor hot tubs. We also had access to the Ritz Carlton amenities directly next door. Literally a minute or two walk. The best part was the service. We had all of the benefits of an owner in the property. From shuttle service to and from restaurants and activities in Beaver Creek and Vail, to access to Red Sky Ranch and it’s two outstanding golf courses. The on site valet and all other property staff were were exceptional. They also hosted a wine tasting which was very nice. By all accounts this was an excellent rental. Looking forward to returning.

Family skiing at its best

Timbers in Bachelor's Gulch is one of the most welcoming environments from which to launch a great ski week. Everyone at the facility was intent on easing the traditional burdens of such a trip from the bulky luggage (whisked away and into the room by ever present bell staff) to renting equipment (wonderful on site ski valets) and to even helping to put your boots on and take them off if you so desire. Skis miraculously appear on and off the slope as required. 30 seconds to the main lift. Round the clock hot drinks and afternoon cookies were a treat. The two-bedroom apartment that we rented was enormous and everything worked smoothly. Beds and sofas were very comfortable and the fully equipped kitchen was put to good use. Housekeeping twice a day was great. A washer/dryer in the apartment meant not coming home to that chore either. Cost for the week was as expected for this quality of property but the hidden benefits (running to several thousand dollars saved for an adult family of 4) of not having to buy lift passes was a major plus. Free access to the facilities of the adjoining Ritz Carlton only added to the value, especially the Grotto in the spa. We will be back next year for sure. PS: The skiing and ambience of Bachelors Gulch and Beaver Creek were ideal. I think that's what we originally came for but we got so much more out of the week because of Timbers.

Absolutely fantastic!

This is my fourth time staying at the Bachelor Gulch property but my first time in the Timbers residence. I have to say, from the moment we arrive until the moment we left, we had an absolutely perfect stay. The room was exceptionally clean, the staff was overwhelmingly friendly and helpful and the service was perfect. In my opinion, if you're traveling to the Vail Valley, this is the best place to stay! We will for sure return.

Our new favorite!

We had a 2 bedroom condo at Timbers Bachelor Gulch for a week and loved every minute of it! The ability to use the hot tubs at Timbers and the Ritz made for great relaxation after long ski days. The ski valets totally make the experience! They help kids get geared up and bring your gear up to the mountain. I highly recommend this property!

Amazing Location & top notch service

My family enjoyed our stay at Timbers Bachelor Gulch. The location is fabulous. We came out of the property and the lift was right there. We could ski easily to BC and to Arrowhead. The ski valets were efficient, attentive and always ready to assist without us even asking. Concierges and the bell station staffs were friendly and eager to make our stay pleasant. The property itself is comfortable and beautiful. Our family enjoyed the beverage station and the daily cookies. It's a pity that we could hear the neighbors talking through the wall. We also got waken up every morning by the voice and the footsteps from upstairs unit. They got young kids running around the room around 6:30 every morning. Sometimes we managed to fall back to sleep. The noise is unexpected for a luxury lodging such as Timbers. This property is a great place as a home away from home.

Great Property!!!!

We had a 3 bedroom and 3 1/2 bath condo at Timbers for 7 days. It was facing the mountain and the Ritz. The location was perfect. The amenities and staff was amazing. The ski valets were great too. We would recommend to our friends and we would definitely stay here again. Loved the twice daily housekeeping. The housekeepers were so polite and did a great job.

Absolutely Awesome

Great Property

We spent 7 nights at Timbers Bachelor Gulch over President's week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care. The concierge contacted us pre-arrival and did a great job arranging transportation and restaurant reservations. The twice daily housekeeping was great as was the ski valet and bell stand. The staff was professional, friendly and very helpful. Units are spacious and in excellent condition. We will definitely try to return for another vacation.

We loved our stay. Excellent service, location is the best, great kitchen, ski rental downstairs, housecleaning, we loved it all. My only complaint would be the shuttle service. That is not part of the hotel but is the way to get around and it never worked. We ended waiting for over half and hour twice and the hotel kindly took us where we needed to go. But the apartments was 5 starts we will be back!

Beautiful property

Our family enjoyed our ski vacation at the Timbers Lodge Bachelor Gulch! The staff at the concierge was very attentive and the ski valet was amazing! They offer a free shuttle into town to go to the City Market for groceries or just to shop in the cute town! They always have warm cookies in the afternoon along with fresh coffee, tea or hot cocoa! Also as a guest at Timbers you have access to all the Ritz Carlton amenities like: the spa, the amazing grotto and fitness center, outdoor heated pool and spas at the bottom of the Gulch! Our children loved the game room and option to borrow movies to watch in our room! We liked it so much we are considering purchasing a unit at this resort!

Timbers BG is a great place to stay. What made it exceptional was the excellent staff--from the bellhop, the concierge, and the cleaning staff, they were the best. The cleaning staff is very well trained...I have never had better service anywhere, and really appreciated the twice daily service. We used the grocery delivery service, the on-site ski rental and valet, the on-site lift ticket, and after a day of hard skiing enjoyed the free huge cookies in the lobby. My kids LOVED the new game room and made new friends there. If you hire a private ski instructor from BC Ski School, the instructor will meet you at Timbers, just make sure the school knows that when making your reservation. Everyone in my 6 person family enjoyed their stay at Timbers, and I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Vacation

The Timbers Bachelor Gulch was fabulous for our family of four. 2 adults and 2 children. The staff really catered to all of our needs. We LOVED the Ritz Carlton hotel next door, we hung out at the pool every day and then it felt like we were coming home to the Timbers. The Timbers complex is definitely a bit more relaxed than the hotel which was great. With 2 kids, it was imperative that we had a full kitchen. The kitchen was huge and had every cooking utensil we needed. We took the shuttle to Beaver Creek a few times and had a blast with the kids. We also found a few restaurants in Edwards which is only a five minute drive away. We loved Zinos for Italian and they have an outdoor Bocci ball court.

Amazing Experience

What a wonderful vacation experience. Our trip to Bachelor Gulch and Timbers Resort was nothing short of exceptional. The onsite staff at Timbers made all the difference, they could not have been more helpful. The complex is located adjacent to the Ritz Carlton Resort. We used the pool and hot tub at the hotel but didn’t really spend much time at the hotel. We had a great week of snow and skiing, couldn’t have been happier. We’ll be back.

If you have a chance to stay at The Ritz Carlton Club in Bachelor Gulch ~ it is a truly amazing experience! It is over the top luxury. I love the “parkitecture” with the stunning woodwork and a casual yet elegant mountain feel. The resort is beautifully situated on the slopes and it offers the best ski-in/ski-out service I've ever experienced. No waiting to get skis in the morning and dropping them off at night. The aprùs ski scene is also the best. There is music and a giant fire pit with lots of chairs and marshmallows to roast. The Buffalo Bar is very Colorado with a huge fireplace & great ambiance. Also ~ a great spot to have a drink after hitting the slopes. The pool is one of the most outstanding I have ever seen! It is also at the base of the slopes ~ and it’s so nice to ski and hot tub after a long day on the slopes while you watch people ski down. Too fun! The spa is clean, beautiful and has excellent service. The co-ed Grotto room in the spa is the best. It has beautiful rock walls, a heated soaker pool and lounge chairs. I’ve never been so relaxed. Another amazing service is a free shuttle or private suburban service that will take you from the Ritz to/from Beaver Creek or Vail ~ at no cost. You truly don’t even need a car. It is pricey but you get what you pay for and this truly is a vacation of a lifetime. When you stay at a Ritz Carlton Club Residence (rather than the Club level) ~ you receive free lift tickets included in your rate, complimentary parking, additional concierge/ski valet & hot tub. This is a great savings. You also get larger residence with a living room, full kitchen, dining area and washer/dryer. Every aspect of service at the resort was topnotch including the service. We were spoiled have such a spacious condo with all The Ritz Carlton Hotel amenities. We will definitely be back!
