Summer sands is a property located on Upper Upper Silver Lake. Walk out to the sandy beach and shallow entry into the water. Swim, fish, or ride paddle boats, kayaks, paddle boards (all provided) in our quiet but fun non-motorized lake. Great place for children to play in the water and sand.
You have access and just are few yards away from Upper Silver Lake. You are also just a short drive from the dunes, Silver Lake, Craig Cruisers and many other fun things to do!

Loved our stay!

The place was extremely clean and welcoming Our kids enjoyed the sand and water. The hosts were kind and responsive. It was the perfect relaxing long weekend that my family needed. We plan to stay again!

Awesome family retreat

This home is located wonderful in a quit neighbourhood with a private, neat beach at the Upper Upper Lake, everything well maintained. Great fireplace and outdoor sitting on the deck. The owners stayed next door and were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience, would love to come back.

Very nice place! The place had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We brought our own wash towels and toiletries. We would love to stay again and plan to book something for the summer! The hostess was very prompt in replying also!

Great little getaway place. Very private and peaceful. Lots of seating options both inside and outside. Loved there were big box fans in every room, place was very clean. Very close to restaurants and lots of options around for things to do and places to see...the Macwood Dune Rides is a must! We were able to check in earlier than expected and check out later, which we loved. Only a couple things to make note of: house doesn't provide bath towels/washcloths or paper products, which wasn't a problem for us but didn't know until about a day or so beforehand. Could have been a bigger issue if we were flying in to stay there and would have had to find a store to buy some towels. While the outside deck was very pretty and peaceful, it was pretty dirty. Lots of large spiders, large webs everywhere which made us not want to stay out there much. Didn't look like it had been cleaned off in a while. Overall, it's a great place to stay and great experience.

Family Vacation

We had a great time playing in the water, on the paddle boards and the paddle boat. The beach was really sandy and the weather was fantastic! Neighbor’s and lake friends were a lot of fun!! The fireworks for July 4th were outstanding! We had an excellent time!! Would love to return!!

Excellent for our family

Well furnished seating in the open kitchen, dining, living areas. Was great for comfortable gatherings with our family.The two bathrooms are comfortable. Laundry machines worked well.The best feature of this property is the waterfront accessibility. It has a great deck on the house with a pergola for shade, and a great view of the beach to watch the kids. The middle area has a nice fire pit, and then the beach level with a pier. All areas had plenty of chairs available.Kayaks and paddle boat and boards were also includedThe fishing proved great for our 9yo grandson--the avid fisherman of the family.This year the weather was great. Overall this was a perfect fit for our family gathering, and we would stay again.

We had my nephew’s wedding at the golf course across from our place

The grandkids and the dog and my 2 daughters and son-in-law loved the beach and the house was amazing. It was very convenient to where we had to go for the wedding. I definitely would recommend this place to family and friends. It was like a home away from home. Also the grandkids loved playing With the games and reading the books Books that were there for them. It was so nice to have the washer and dryer there, because my 2 daughters did the kids clothes and suits . Thank you so much for letting us stay there.

View was nice

Furnace went off middle of night. So loud. Thought truck was coming through house. Nice poop in counters. Shower stalls are small. No bathtubs. Cable was constant in and out. Advertised with hot tub. Only reason we booked this house. No hot tub in the house. Floors were not clean , hair on bathroom floors and such. Water has slight yellow tint to it. View of lake was awesome but several strangers wondered through backyard to go around the lake. Kind of strange.

This small body of water has everything you need! It’s a great place for families with children. The beach walks into shallow water. It’s easy to kayak, paddle board or row around the unmotorized water. Fishing is great too!
