Great beach access

First trip to the beach with the dog. Many places in the area very dog-friendly, hoping to bring her back in off-season when dogs are permitted on the beach. Accommodations were quaint with lots of character and perfect for sharing with our young-adult children.

Great Family Beach getaway

This property was spacious and clean — I could smell bleach cleaner when I first opened the door. The paint and floors could use a little freshening up but the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room. We had an issue with the washing machine during our stay and Bryant responded quickly to get it resolved

Beach trip

Took our dog with. It was a great property to bring a pet. Cozy, comfortable and lots of space! Quick walk to the beach, coffee house and restaurant! Stress free stay.

Great location but house needs repairs

Though the closeness to the beach was real good, we thought the house was in need of some upkeep and repair (ceiling in living room is peeling off, strong moldy smell and pretty much everything needs some paint). No mention that there is no dishwasher.

Winter Retreat

The location was excellent as it was close to the beach, Oceanic Restaurant and just minutes away from our son's home. It was very clean. We enjoyed time on the sunny porch.

Great Location!

Great Location, walking distance to Sundays and Oceanic. Steps to the beach. Clean house, with amazing deck! Myself, my husband, and our English bull dog had an amazing stay. Will rent again!

Surfer shack

This property is well located by Wrightsville’s south end surfing community by the Oceanic restaurant and pier. However, the unit needs some major renovations. And while the layout and room sizes are great, it’s hard to get by all the things that need fixing or replacing. No cleaning supplies or trash bags provided? Poorly stocked kitchen. Furniture is well worn and stained. Bed comfort: fair. Great place if you want to be close to the beach and good waves. Not so much for a family vacation.

A very nice pet friendly House

simple things were wrong batteries in remotes needed replacing faucets in bathroom to difficult for mother-in-law to use tv in one bedroom not connected at all furniture old and uncomfortable although non of these are major issues it just make for an unfavorable experience

Great location but house needs some updates

My teen daughter and I had a great week in Wrightsville. The location of this property is amazing. However, the house definitely needs some upgrades -- and we're not talking about a lot of money. Simple things like, a refrigerator that is not rusty, memory foam bed toppers, shampoo'd rugs, black out curtains for the bedrooms. The house is old and that's ok but the house could be better taken care of. If this owner is ever looking to sell, look me up!

Needs work

The property looked good on the internet. The house needs major work. Rugs need to be replaced and blinds. Needs updated appliances. Need new TVs and updated service. The rent is way to high for what you get.

WB Getaway

The unit was clean & spacious although the A/C vents were black. There was concern that it could have been mold. Limited parking for the unit. During our stay, someone was moving into the downstairs unit. His moving van & vehicle occupied 3 of the 4 parking spaces. Location is great being close to the beach. The road was a little busy and getting in & out was challenging.

Sleep on a brick bed!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beds are hard as a rock! A simple ice tray would have been nice. Unit did not a single beach chair. One shower did not work and the other was like a fire hydrant!

Simple pet friendly place steps from the beach

This house was just right! Simple beach house with a great location. Very close to Oceanic and the Crystal Pier ( you can see it from the kitchen window). The kitchen had all the things needed to cook most meals and there is a nice table and chairs on the deck if you prefer to eat outside. The Coffee shop and surf shop are a stones throw away and we’re great places to grab a coffee or smoothie and rent bikes or set up a surf lesson. Beds were decent but note that the 3rd bedroom has a full size bed, not a queen. It is on a main road which had a lot of traffic at certain times of the day and weekend nights there was street noise in the early AM ( we used a sound machine which cancelled out most of the noise at night). Not fancy but very comfortable place to bring your dog with you for a beach getaway!

Not so cute bungalow

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Will never stay here again, it was very dirty. Stains all over rugs (which were cut up pieces of carpet) and furniture. It is close to beach and pier but you are on a pretty busy road.

2 day beach stay

House was ok, better on the outside than inside and it was close to the ocean and oceanic restaurant. The inside of the house was roomy but I could tell there had been previous Pets in the residence due to the cleanliness of the rugs. They were stained so we rolled them all up for our stay until we left. For the location I expected a little more. Did not like that we had to make our own beds when we arrived either. Not really a thing I wanted to do on a vacation. Also never got our email letting us know our itinerary, so when we arrived we didnt have passcode, couldnt get anyone to answer our calls to get help, luckily the information was in past emails so we could get in. Love the area but will not be going back to this vrbo. Thanks.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The upper level of this duplex is completely unacceptable. In every room there is stains on the ceilings. The kitchen is from another era with no dishwasher and a barely working fridge with a door won't stay shut. Your food will stay luke warm. During the week we started washing our clothes only to find the dryer was broken. We called to report the issue and no one came for 3 days. On Thursday of our stay I called Bryant again only to have an employee say that someone probably came and we were out, which was untrue. No repair man had came. He finally came Friday of our trip and the dryer was unrepairable. He let us know that this is typical of the owner who doesn't care for his properties. In the master bedroom, the mattress was worn completely out and left our bodies tired from the night. The master shower head needs replaced. The residence that lives below went fishing and decided to clean the fish in our 6x5 walkway area not in their yard. The next morning there were flies and scales everywhere that we had to contend with the rest of the week. After a 6 hour trip from Virginia, looking forward to a relaxing vacation, we were really disappointed in the duplex. A truly slumlord worthy experience.

Great location. We had some issues with the rental, from cleaning to linens to appliances, and while the property manager was quick to respond, some attention to the property prior to check in would have been better.

Great location, a bit dated

The house was very clean and In a great location it is an older property but it is well maintained.The outside could use a little bit of TLC for some curb appeal. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Duplex review upper unit

Generally, the unit is very dated and could use some much needed updates. The fenced in area for dogs looked much bigger in the picture than actual. Plus fence not safe and pets could easily get out. Would not recommend this unit at all
