Tucked away by the serene Rainbow Lake, Lazy Oaks Resort is a haven for family adventures. Just a few steps from your cabin, the well-stocked lake invites guests to cast a line for Blue Gill, Catfish, Northern Pike, and Large Mouth Bass. For those keen on aquatic adventures, row boats are up for rent from April 1st through October 31st. Prefer land-based activities? Explore the scenic hiking trails in the nearby mountains.

The Blue Spruce Cabin, one of our highlights, accommodates up to 4 guests in absolute comfort. It features a king-sized bed in the bedroom and a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living area. A fully-equipped kitchen and dining zone set the scene for delightful meals. Plus, we've ensured you stay connected with our provided Wi-Fi.

There's no shortage of entertainment at Lazy Oaks. From pitching horseshoes at the on-site pit, bonding over stories around one of the three fire pits, to sizzling up a meal on the charcoal grill post a day at the lake, every moment at Blue Spruce Cabin is one for the books.

Arrival:
Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. If you will be arriving after the office closes at 4pm, please contact us for directions about picking up your keys.

Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these times.

Pet Policy:
There is a $25 (plus tax) per-stay fee for each pet.
Pets must be on leases outside the cabins at all times.
You are responsible for cleaning up after your pets. Please bring disposal bags with you.
If your pets are allowed on your furniture, please bring sheets/blankets with you or ask for sheets when you check in.
Pets must be crated if you leave them alone in the cabins. You are responsible for any damage caused to our property by your pets.
If your pets shed excessively, please borrow a vacuum from us prior to your departure to clean up our cabin.
Any excessive mess or damage to the property will result in an extra $40 pet fee.

Great Cabin!

The property manager is super responsive and helpful. The blue spruce is a great cabin with a nice little fire place - Highly Recommend!

Upgrades needed

No firewood to burn and when you call management about it, they could care less the rooms were old and deteriorating the furnace went out. We called about it, but they didn’t care either. We’ll never go back.

Cute cabin experience

This property is one of many small cabins with a shared outdoor space. It’s located at the back of the property close to the entrance. You can see the lake from the outdoor back patio and it’s a short walk to the lake. There is a front desk with unposted hours but there is an area with supplies that is accessible when the front desk is closed. Everything is really old and the cabin was drafty. It is heated by electric wall and free standing units that work well. There isn’t any private outdoor space and the cabins are quite close to each other. The space was clean. There were mouse traps and the pull out cutting board had a substantial amount of mouse poop on it. It is understandable to have mice in a cabin like that but it was a little icky. We had a great time on the trip. It was especially nice to have a fenced in space for my dog.

Cabin near the lake

Cabin is a bit older, but it was clean and had everything we needed. The host made the check in process seamless. Location is great.
