Elk River Cabin är en äkta timmerstuga som ursprungligen byggdes på 1800-talet i Marion, NC. Det demonterades, med alla stockar numrerade och ombyggdes på sin nuvarande plats.
Det har renoverats för att behålla sin tidlösa och rustika charm. De många specialfunktioner inkluderar kvist exteriör & interiör räcke, ek lövplastgolv på huvudnivå, full mursten spis i vardagsrummet och helrenoverade bad.

Rustic beauty

Wonderful Mountain Cabin

This cabin is amazing and has everything you could ever need. The views are spectacular and feels secluded but very close to downtown Banner Elk. We hope to return again soon!!

Amazing cabin

Super clean, beautiful decor, we'll stocked, this cabin had it all. We do VRBOs frequently, this was a unique gem. Views from deck, back glassed in porch, etc we're great.

Elk River Cabin 4th of July

We loved the Elk River Cabin, it was so well equipped, clean, full of character in a beautiful setting. This cabin would be challenging for someone who has difficulty with stairs. We would definitely rent it again.

Incredible views

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay. The views from the hot tub/deck, the all winter porch, the living room, and pretty much any room on the Mountain View side of the home had spectacular views. I think the pictures do not display justice as to how beautiful the views are. The steps are curved and steep, some of the ceilings are Low or angled but we really enjoyed the home. Just a heads up there are no curtains or blinds in the master, privacy is not an issue but the sun does come right in.

Perfect mountain cabin

This is one of the most thoughtfully appointed rentals we’ve ever had. The view is spectacular, and there were plenty of comfy spaces for our party of six to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. We appreciate the Netflix access throughout for the evenings unwinding after our mountain sightseeing. Thank you so much, Marsha!

Property is well kept and in a good location. The management however makes the stay uncomfortable. The expectation seems to be that the cabin is left in better condition upon leaving than when you arrive. You are even asked to take your trash with you and drop it off at the local dump. I’ve never had this expectation be placed on the guests. It made leaving difficult as we needed to be out of the house at 10:00 am. We had to place our trash in the car with all our luggage and find the dump first thing in the morning.

The best cabin ever - Memorial Day 2018

This cabin has it all and pictures do not do it justice. Very clean and organized home were you will find everything you need including frosties in the freezer. Cabin is very close to town with restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. The best restaurant and wine bar we found just mile down the road - The Bodegas Kitchen and Wine Bar - the food is amazing - tuna tacos and crab cakes were our favorite and for dessert Linda's Rum cake was to die for. If you would like to have home made Key Lime pie please reserve one ahead of the time as they go fast. You can tell we spent lots of time at the Bodegas. We have also visited Banner Elk winery were you can do wine tasting, make your own smore's = for free, just sit outside by the pond, listen to live music on weekends and enjoy the scenery. We have enjoyed the sauna and hot tub daily. We will be back for sure.

Good location but be aware of the construction

This cabin is in a convenient location, and has decent amenities. If your time there includes any weekdays through this summer, you need to be aware there are two houses under construction -- one is right outside the front door, the other is in the adjacent lot. Around 7am on our first morning there, we were awakened to the sounds of construction that were so close, I thought someone had come inside the house-- it was very alarming. It was the opposite of the quiet, peaceful getaway we were hoping for. Had we known about the construction, we would have stayed somewhere else since this was our anniversary and our first time away from our young child. Other than that, it has a nice view. The hot water heater doesn't hold enough water to fill the tub. Compared to other cabins we have stayed in around the area, the nicest part was being a very short drive to dinner in Banner Elk or Valle Crucis.
