Enjoy spectacular mountain views from this mountaintop cabin perfectly situated just 4 miles from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and a trolley stop, and just 9 miles from the heart of Gatlinburg! Leave the hustle and bustle of town and unwind on the back porch looking out over Mt. LeConte while enjoying the peace and privacy only a mountaintop cabin can provide. Relax in the large 6-person hot tub while you gaze across the landscape to the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
Bear Claw Vista is a 3 bed 2 bath cabin with a large porch looking out over a panoramic view of the beautiful Smoky Mountains (Great Smoky Mountains National Park). On the first floor you will find two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, closet, dresser, and Roku TV. The first floor also offers a recently renovated full bath, washer and dryer, full kitchen with dining table, and living room. Cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace, or enjoy a movie on the 55" Roku TV.
Upstairs, there is a 3rd bedroom featuring a king-size bed, closet, dresser, and Roku TV, as well as another full bath and the game loft. The game loft features a 255-game arcade game and an air hockey table that can be converted to a ping pong table. Board games and books are also located upstairs. *All bedrooms have doors (no loft bedrooms).*
While on the back porch, be sure to listen for the faint sounds of the Dollywood train! There is a bar-height table with seating for four, Adirondack chairs, and a bench swing, along with a 6-person hot tub, also located on the back porch.
There is room in the sloped grassy yard for kids to run and play (great for running and rolling, but not great for soccer!) and there is a separate fire pit and grilling area with 6 Adirondack chairs, a park-style grill, and a picnic table.
You will have exclusive access to the entire property during your stay. This includes the cabin, hot tub and porch, yard, fire pit area, and driveway.
This is one of very few cabins in the immediate area. Located near a dead end, the setting is peaceful and serene. The cabin is located just 4 miles from a trolley stop located at Parkway and Dollywood Ln in Pigeon Forge, where you can park and ride. There is parking for three vehicles at the cabin.
Be sure to watch for bears while you are at the cabin or in the surrounding area! *Bears are frequently seen on the property and in the surrounding area starting in March/April each year, after hibernation.* These are wild animals that can endanger life and property. Please do not feed or approach the bears or any wild animals you encounter during your stay. *This year, we've seen a single bear who likes to check out the fire pit, checks to make sure the trash cans are secure, and then walks through the driveway and yard.*
Bear Claw Vista is personally managed by owners Emily and Kevin. As we are semi-local, we stop by the cabin a couple times a month (between guest stays) to make sure it's clean, organized, and maintained - and that it meets our high standards for our guests. We are easily accessible through messaging and are happy to help make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible!
